Pretty worried about a lot of the stuff I'm hearing about Ofsted at the moment. I know vagueposting isn't a great look, but I think popularity and satisfaction rates are going to go even further down...
Three former senior HMI and three Professors have joined forces to create an independent post Ofsted inspection survey. We will be sharing our first report on 25 June at 4pm, and you can be part of the free conference discussing the findings. eventbrite.co.uk/e/198781445ā¦
The Secretary of State should read this & hang her head in shame. She enabled Ofsted to do their own rebrand; she was content they disregarded professional responses to the āBig Pretend to Listen; and if tragedy recurs she will have, in my view, serious questions to answer.
Iāve been away for a bit. We havenāt been having the best time, to be honest. Iāve noticed a few things happening with Ofsted and their supporters recently, and Iāve written about it.
Ofsted, of course, are driving on regardless.

5. Small schools
Look out for some blogs to follow on these.

Wrote this with @BarlowCaroline a few of years ago. The challenges around inclusion havenāt changed, schools that are inclusive are still punished both financially and in terms of accountability measures. The big challenge of inclusion is one of culture.

Am I the only one being contacted by senior leaders of schools Ofsted inspected last week who have major concerns about the Fwk and its negative impact? These comments are coming from schools who volunteered.
