When we elect @builtjustice as mayor the Canucks will finally win. I dont make the rules.
An observation: Seattle elected a democratic socialist mayor, and immediately won the Super Bowl. New York City elected a democratic socialist mayor, and immediately won the #NBAFinals.

People only hate Elon Musk because he comes from an emerald mining fortune made in apartheid South Africa, he buys ideas and pretends he’s an inventor, he’s a white supremacist, union-busting, abusive employer, he’s hoarding $1T in stolen wages, he makes us ashamed to be human,

I saw a post on Reddit that said that “The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” And I don’t think I’ve ever seen AI described so incisively.

What does it say about our system that any hope of adequate living as an elder depends on having a windfall in home equity? It’s a disgrace to abandon people like this while extremists continue to criminalize homelessness.
Opinion: Seniors are the largest, fastest-growing homeless population in Canada. It’s a collective shame upon our country theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…

FICTION: @PeterMeiszner claimed the Vision Zero plan would lower the speed on "streets like Boundary Rd, Clark, Knight St." FACT: The report clearly references streets with "high pedestrian activity" and "busy shopping streets." Did Peter even read the report before gutting it?

They were scared of Mamdani winning because now every city in every state across the whole country wants a Mamdani of their very own.

It's sick that Vancouver will do this for tourists but wont help our own neighbours. We did it for Expo, the Olympics, and now FIFA. People died each time, and the "problem" came back because this ISNT a solution.
So it was possible to clean up Hastings Street after all? Will they be able to keep it this way now?

Mayor decided to have LinkNYC kiosks across the city stream tonight’s game. While Dolan seems hell bent on making sure the city has rancid vibes for the finals run, Mayor is making sure all New Yorkers can enjoy the Knicks.
When James Dolan cancels the watch party outside MSG, we bring the watch party to you. Thanks to the @NBA, Knicks Game 4 is now playing on dozens of @LinkNYC screens across our city. LGK.

It's a little weird to hear your name mentioned on radio but also incredible respect and appreciation for actually giving me credit for my work - that's like a single digit category of people out there you belong to. Thank you @builtjustice

So this is a lie. ABC is refusing to listen to the data about traffic fatalities because they think it will help them get re-elected.
Yesterday, ABC voted to keep Vancouver moving. While the non-ABC parties on Council wanted to lower speed limits on major arterial roads to 30 km/h and 40 km/h, ABC chose to stand with commuters and residents. Speed limits must be driven by common sense, not ideology. Let's keep Vancouver moving forward.

Full Report: council.vancouver.ca/2026060… Shout out to @VisionZeroYVR for their advocacy on the incredibly "common sense" idea that people shouldn't be killed or maimed by cars.
