Today's helmet of the day features another US based CFL team as part of the 1994-1995 American experiment. While support for the team was okay, given the small market, they only won eight games in their two seasons and questionable ownership helped lead to their eventual demise.
The World Cup begins today in the U.S.
Seeing grass fields in the tournament at SoFi Stadium, MetLife Stadium and Gillette Stadium (among others) will only fan the flames for NFL players, who want all grass fields.

Helmet of the Day: the most successful of the CFL's attempt to break into the US market. Advancing to the Grey Cup Final in both of their seasons, winning it in 1995. Despite that, with the looming move of the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore, team owner
Jim Speros, decided to fold the Baltimore franchise and resurrect the Montreal Alouettes. Baltimore is one of three Grey Cup winners to have folded.
Other than the Eagles and Packers in the early 50s and the Vikings in 1964, teams never really wore monochromatic uniforms (same color jersey and pants). As far as I can see the first team to do it after those was the Eagles on MNF on November 10, 1997. Starting a horrible trend, we have to endure still today. @GridironUniform can correct me if I am wrong.
Still not used to the Titans basically looking like the Oilers now. After years of Titans fans yelling at me whenever I suggested they do something like this.
These are the teams with the longest unchanged primary helmets in the NFL, including mask color. For those who may ask, the Bears and Raiders made slight changes to their helmet logos in 1997.
