🚨BREAKING: Former Biden-era VA official John H. Windom—tasked with overseeing the massive Electronic Health Record Modernization project—has been federally indicted for concealing thousands in cash, casino chips, Louis Vuitton gift cards, and other lavish gifts from contractors. While leading the effort, Windom helped award a $10 BILLION contract to Cerner (later bought by Oracle Health). He allegedly pushed the company on 'diversity and inclusion,' leading to a $1.7M DEI-related subcontract for his circle—while raking in personal perks from a 'Power Group' of favored vendors. The result? A disastrously flawed system linked to over 4,000 cases of harm to veterans—including at least 4 deaths from scheduling errors, lost orders, and catastrophic failures. Rollout stalled after safety nightmares. This is what happens when ethics take a backseat and ideology (DEI) mixes with billion-dollar contracts. Veterans deserved better. Accountability now. “Dovolj je dovolj!”
Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Every computer based system is vulnerable to manipulation and fraud. That is exactly why they use them. Anything other than paper ballots with verifiable audit trails and independent counts is unacceptable.

Even if our senators get off their lazy butts and pass the Save America Act, the electronic voting systems make it easy for the puppet masters to manipulate the outcome of the election anyway. So while we all know that the Save America Act is necessary to start down the road of fair voting, it’s not the end. We need to revert back to paper ballots certified by the bipartisan volunteers maintaining our election integrity.

UHI? It only benefits Corporate America — disguised as help for the peasants. If the rules don’t change, the swamp doesn’t drain. Still clogged with greed and power. 👑💰 #CongressKings #UHI
Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

Local impact in Texas: Catholic Charities Fort Worth already laid off staff when federal refugee grants started freezing. Now they’re sitting on $76.9 million in assets built mostly on taxpayer dollars. When programs shrink or dissolve, we need real-time transparent tracking of every dollar and asset — not just a 990 filed months later. What happens to the cash, vehicles, inventory, and property? #AidTransparency #NGOWindDowns

Exactly — and the same Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth (EIN 75-0808769) that handled nearly $1B in federal refugee grants now sits on $76.9 million in total assets (FY2024 per latest 990). Cash, grants receivable, property, vehicles, inventory, equipment — all built largely on taxpayer dollars. When those federal streams get cut (as they’re already freezing across the board), what happens to the $76.9M during any wind-down or program shrinkage? IRS rules say assets must go to another 501(c)(3) or government for similar purposes. But we need actual transparent tracking of every dollar and asset in real time — public dashboards, timely Schedule N filings, proactive state AG IRS audits — not just reactive 990s filed months later. This isn’t abstract “aid-industrial complex” talk. It’s a real Texas NGO with real taxpayer-built assets. Oversight during dissolution matters. #AidTransparency #NGOWindDowns

@TXAG Hey, just two Catholic Charities in Texas (Fort Worth and Galveston-Houston) hold a combined $137 million in charitable assets — mostly built with taxpayer dollars. But that’s a tiny slice. Texas foundations alone held $98 to $103 BILLION in assets as of 2023. All this money is supposed to be held in public trust for the people of Texas. When funding cuts cause program cuts or wind-downs, Texans deserve proactive, real-time transparent tracking from your office: public dashboards, timely reports on every asset transfer, not just old 990s filed months later. Step up and make the oversight visible. #AidTransparency #TexasAG

Real example right here in Galveston County, TX: Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston (EIN 74-1109733) — the local Beacon of Hope food pantries, refugee aid, rent assistance, and disaster relief group — reported $60.5 million in total assets as of June 2024. Revenue that year: $102.6 million, with the vast majority from federal grants (refugee/migration programs, HHS, etc.). They already laid off ~25% of staff in early 2025 when those grants froze. When the funding gets cut and programs shrink or dissolve, what actually happens to the $60M in cash, grants receivable, property, vehicles, inventory, and equipment built on taxpayer dollars? IRS rules say assets must go to another 501(c)(3) or government for charitable use. But with low audit rates, no public real-time dashboard, and enforcement mostly reactive via state AGs late-filed 990s… that “oversight” is exactly what should concern everyone. This isn’t some shadowy international giant — it’s a mid-sized local NGO. If we’re routing aid direct to governments instead of middlemen, we need actual transparent tracking of these assets during wind-downs. Not just trust the system. #AidTransparency #NGOAssets

Many NGOs own significant assets. While the IRS claims to have 'strict rules' in place about how assets must not go to benefit insiders upon dissolution, there does not seem to be trasparent evidence of oversight or enforcement of rules in dissolution process. Any data scientists tracking this?
