Kier Starmer has turned into Labour's equivalent of John Major. His hopelessness & haplessness as Prime Minister is exceeded only by the relentlessness with which he clings to office, when his credibility is totally non-existent. @TimesRadio #KierHasNoMandate

And I thought that the Conservative Party operated as a social club . . . It appears that they are hopelessly outclassed, by the true masters of the art of cronyism.
Journalist Steve Richards opines on Starmers future Richards son is a Labour MP & govt minister who's married to a special adviser to Steve Reed. Richards daughter is a special adviser to Yvette Cooper & is married to another Labour MP. Ever feel that its a big club?

Anyone who takes the @ChelseaFC manager's job should demand, as a non-negotiable condition, the sacking of all 5 - yes, there are 5 of them - "sporting directors" & demand total overall control of all transfer & recruitment activity. bbc.co.uk/sport/football/art…

Reform Defector Rosindell Loses High Court Bid to Retake Constituency Office order-order.com/2026/03/30/r… via @guidofawkes I am very surprised that this made it to Court. Conservative Party premises are for the use of Conservative MPs, not Reform ones. A poor use of £23k @SkyNews

If the "Quakers in Britain" group does not want people to be arrested at a Quaker meeting house, they should prevent a Quaker meeting house from being used to plan criminal activity. Simples. @Telegraph @standardnews telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03…

Senior Labour Ministers appear to be having terrible trouble with their professional advisors. First it is Angela Rayner blaming her conveyancers, when she is in breach of the law. Now it is Rachel Reeves blaming her rental managers, when she is in breach of the law. @Telegraph

Am I alone in noticing that Kemi has sharpened up her act over the last 2 or 3 weeks, and actually started landing some blows on the Government ?

If Harry is looking for a reconciliation with his family, appearing to measure his father for his coffin is a strange way of doing it. #PrinceHarry @victoriaarbiter

Am watching Goldfinger on the TV. The scene when he is playing gin rummy by the hotel pool, and wins by cheating, using his girlfriend to spot his opponent's hand. Can't help noticing the similarity to Trump. Same shape. Same colour hair. Same vanity. Same petty obsessiveness.

Milton Friedman nails it. "The benefits of a tariff are visible. Union workers can see they are "protected". The harm which a tariff does is invisible. It's spread widely. There are people that don't have jobs because of tariffs but they don't know it." @_CitC #TrumpTariffs

Done. The budget is both inflationary & recessionary, a major achievement. Its IHT provisions will are a death sentence for all but smallest family businesses. When the only way to fund taxes levied on a business is to sell the business, that is not taxation, it is confiscation.

If Biden's plan goes to plan, the Democrats will replace the candidate most likely to lose to Trump, with the candidate second-most-likely to lose to Trump.

Well said Kemi. Keep it up, when you are Conservative leader, 8 days from now.
"The idea that paying reparations because some countries have demanded it means everything is going to be okay is for the birds. They will keep coming back for more and more…I think these things are a scam…we need politicians who are not naive.” @KemiBadenoch spot on as ever.

Suella Braverman has endorsed Jenrick. Good news for Kemi. @KemiBadenoch #VoteKemi
You know what @KemiBadenoch stands for because she's shown it for years. She’s put her neck on the line for the toughest issues while others stayed silent. Leadership is about conviction, not opportunism. #VoteKemi

As a non-Jew (I had one Jewish grandfather), it seems to me that hating on the Jews (a tiny minority representing just 0.2% of the world’s population) not only reveals a deep-seated inferiority complex on the part of the haters; it’s also a precursor *every single time* to some kind of darkness overtaking a society. Can you think of any society anywhere, now or in history, both consumed by antisemitism and flourishing in any demonstratable way? None. Antisemitism is truly the canary in the coalmine, a portend of dark things to come whenever and wherever it rears its ugly head.
