Mr Das, agencies investigated, built the case, and when the case collapsed, that was reported too.
Journalism isn’t stand-up comedy, we don’t improvise facts for applause.
Also, you don’t get to decide when I can or cannot speak on women. The FoS brigade often seems to have a problem with other people’s freedom of speech.
I recommend yoga and meditation for a calmer mind. Also, keep your gyan to yourself.

After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.
Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.
Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.
Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.
When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.
Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.

Prakash Barik, who resigned, did so from right outside Nishikant's house. Nishikant is a shrewd businessman with plenty of money. I know him well. He’s from my hometown. He’s like a younger brother. But I know what his game is... First, there was the meeting with Bhupender Yadav (with rebel MPs). Then Suvendu Adhikari arrived with flowers. It’s obvious this is a BJP ploy..."

In WB's Rajarhat New Town, the result in Booth 164 has shocked voters. Several of them told @AltNews they voted for CPI(M), votes which have simply vanished. CPI(M) got only 1 vote in the booth. 88% of voters are Muslims. BJP got 97% of the votes

NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha and HR Head Amit Chakravarty have been arrested. Delhi Police statement doing the rounds says a total of “39 male suspects and 9 female suspects” were questioned. As we had reported earlier, these “suspects” include young reporters and freelance journalists.

When 27LACS votes were pending adjudication, another seven lakh were added without proof. RO, ARO, Observer, micro Observer, Police Observer and CAPF all from the centre. No one from the state was appointed in the counting halls, ECI and BJP had a free hand and hence it was not a surprise, it was all perfectly orchestrated to make BJP win by Hook or by crook. The difference between the two parties was only 32LACS votes.
