My wife and I love to travel. People often ask how we can afford to travel so much (especially when we used to bring our 4 kids).
Well we do have high standards, but we are also bargain hunters. We shop for deals on flights, hotels and attractions whenever possible.
Since 2012, we've also immersed ourselves in the world of home exchanges. We've done over 40 of them since we joined across 5 continents.
One of the appeals is that we have a whole home with cooking and laundry so that we're not always eating out. It also costs us virtually nothing to stay in these places.
We've always been fortunate to have fabulous places to stay and I have to say that our current accommodation near Lunenburg, NS is one of the nicest. As an avid amateur chef, the availability of fresh seafood and a fantastic kitchen and pantry has been a dream.
If any of my friends are curious, feel free to drop me a DM and I'd be happy to share more details.

Crazy right? 🤩

1. Aunque suene contradictorio, debes invertir en buen alojamiento.
Sobre todo que tenga espacio para trabajar (te ahorras el coworking) y cocina (te ahorras comidas fuera).
Ideal si es una casa, mayor comodidad.

AirBnB was great at the start but it has sucked for years. I only use it when I have to, but these days I travel almost exclusively with HomeExchange.com. When that isn’t possible I use Booking.com.

I joined #homeexchange a month ago. Highly recommend… although I think I might have to quit my job to reply full time to all the messages I’m getting 🫣😂 have two trips booked already!!
