Need more tools to bind all these feature together: x.com/Lambda_Coder/status/17…

What happens when you combine Emacs with gaming? You get an environment in which any panel can display any visualization for any data type. And if it's not there, you just develop it right there, live. Coded support for multiple viewports as it draws 60fps :) #gamedev

Science is not a process, a credential, or an institution. It is the unflinching pursuit of truth, carried out by the few, co-opted by the many.

I need a hardware base-12 adder, don't ask why

Actually scrap this, I need a hardware base-n adder with the caveat that 'n' needs to be in base-10, wait

Be me, study rotation groups until 5 AM because quiet environment at night, then next day "wait you mean to tell me on top of SO(n), O(n), SU(n), U(n), Sp(n) and G₂ there exists SO(p,q)? Grok does this come from the same as Cl(p,q,r)?" And yes, another rabbit hole just opened :D

Then we can Pin(n) one thing and Spin(n) the other one. Also don't forget the exceptional Lie groups, they turn matrices to automorphisms, but I have yet to go deep

Then with all of this, you too can simulate 3 particles for 3 femtoseconds, before the system spins out of control! And from that realize maybe mathematics gets it wrong. Either that or invent "hidden variables" and "quantum fluctuations" as ghosts to justify learning all this.

Good writing follows good reading, good thinking follows good writing, good prompting follows good thinking, good feedback follows good prompting, good feedback follows good reading, and the loop completes.

In AI most people are still trying to use old maps on a new territory. Throw the maps away. It's time to draw new ones. The only way you can do it is walking the land.

Order of the ProgArt! I love seeing games in their early states, reminds me of seeing the same at work while teams iterate over green squares and blue backgrounds and brown obstacles for months before committing the resources to make it pretty. Reminds me of SMB3's world map :D
It's insane that this game looked like this 9 years ago. Truly inspiring!

You'd think at first glance, O(x) -> SO(x), but no It goes Special->General, like Einstein, I got got

Rotation groups get fascinating, you can literally turn stuff to geometry then make actions go brrrr on them
