Not a fan of centralizing all of our governance discussions into a centralized Discord channel. That is moving backwards. And IMHO if it is weaponized to vote against people who are simply not members of the Discord then it arguably violates one of our Constitutional tenets.

Crypto Facts - Transparent Governance
I've improved DaveGov so you can now dig much deeper into Cardano governance and DRep voting behaviour. You can now see things like how much ADA your DRep has voted to spend historically, how much they have currently committed towards treasury withdrawals, how many proposals they have voted on, how many rationales they have provided, and broader voting behaviour across governance actions. I've also added better analytics around treasury actions including enacted, pending, withdrawn and approved proposals, along with participation rates and pending yes vote inclusion tracking against treasury spend. This morning I focused heavily on performance improvements as well. DRep search is now significantly faster, governance analytics are more responsive, and caching improvements mean the platform scales and feels better with every additional user. There's also now historical comparison functionality, so you can compare how DReps voted during 2025 against current governance behaviour. The goal is simple. Make Cardano governance more transparent, measurable and easier to understand at scale. If you have any ideas, let me know and i'll try get them added, enjoy :) governance.cardano-visualisa…

Whale said it. I’ll say it too, and others that genuinely care about Cardano will continue to say the same thing. We need to be extremely fiscally responsible. As ADA holders, DReps, builders and long term participants in this ecosystem, every treasury withdrawal matters. Especially for those of us with significant exposure to ADA who are not asking for budget allocations ourselves. The treasury is not free capital. Every continued spend carries an opportunity cost to ADA holders and impacts long term sustainability. If Cardano wants to remain competitive and continue holding a position among the leading blockchains, spending needs to stay focused on essentials that create measurable value, strengthen infrastructure, improve adoption, or materially advance the ecosystem. Strong governance is not about approving the most proposals. It is about allocating capital carefully, understanding trade offs, and protecting the long term health of the network. That discipline matters. When is enough, enough?

Bag holders continue to be solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 apologists
30 days on Solana: 77,188 sandwich attacks. 49,247 victims. 203 attackers. Over 10,752 SOL extracted from users. This is what happens when transaction ordering becomes economically valuable and infrastructure advantages concentrate into a small number of actors. A lot of people still treat MEV as some abstract technical concept. In reality, it is users receiving worse execution while bots capture the difference in milliseconds. High throughput alone does not solve fairness. Fast block times alone do not remove exploitation. If transaction propagation, validator relationships, private routing, and ordering markets are unevenly distributed, then sophisticated actors will always position themselves ahead of normal users.

I told everyone @ewarren was 100% in bed with the Banks when I debated her with @kelleratlarge as moderator. She refused to ask Jamie Dimon a single question about his bank @jpmorgan financing Epstein - the largest child-sex trafficking operation in American history. As for crypto, of course there are lots of junk projects and scams within the industry - that’s why we needed sensible regulations. ATM machines have been used for bad things like drug buys - but we don’t ban the technology. In fact, the banks are the biggest crooks in the world. JPMorgan Chase has been fined over $40B dollars for illicit activity NOT including Epstein. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc., all have engaged in criminal enterprises, including money laundering for some of the worst bad guys on the planet. Unlike the banks, Stablecoins require 100% reserves - which is far more safe than the fractional banking system Warren and @SenMarkey love to protect. When Warren says that the economy will crash does she mean similar to the way the banks caused the Great Financial Crisis in 2008 and then people like her and Ed Markey supported bailing those same banks out with taxpayer dollars? Warren is a fraud. @SenMarkey is a puppet. I look forward to seeing Markey on the debate stage next. #mapoli #MASen #Deaton
This is who you voted into office instead of Deaton lol what a joke Warren is.

To be clear, if your proposal is not good enough. It's a no from me. I'll be using my voting power to block as many proposals as I believe are not feasible and required. I'll be participating as much as I can. Based on what I've seen recently submitted, this is super important. Let's go.

I’m curiously wondering, how is it possible for KelpDAO to have this level of knowledgeable Industry Investors in their Rounds yet still completely fail on Security? How is it possible? Do VCs not ask questions and ensure their investment dollars are backing a safe protocol? Sundae Labs has been using this for some of the new things we're working on, and we are *very* impressed! This tool is *transformative* when it comes to the confidence we have in the software we're building!
Big day for the IO High Assurance team. For the first time, you can automatically prove the correctness of a Cardano smart contract, from your source language down to the CEK machine, against the actual ledger rules. 🧵

Could you elaborate on the use cases for Hydra? Does this proposal address the reasons why Hydra hasn't been widely used until now? Regarding this simple reason, in my personal opinion, it's quite difficult for "individuals" to use Hydra for three reasons, and these three reasons are not addressed by this proposal. 1) Hydra Head cannot be easily run on a browser or smartphone. Users cannot easily open Hydra Head. In that case, users would need to trust the Hydra Head administrator. 2) Hydra Head cannot be joined midway. It is not suitable for use by a large number of individuals. 3) Setting up Hydra Head and transferring funds takes more time than a simple L1 transaction. In other words, for most individuals, there is no advantage to using Hydra; simply sending money via L1 is more advantageous. Therefore, while Hydra may be used in enterprise or DeFi internal mechanisms, its use cases are limited due to the technical constraints mentioned above.

By the way, I forgot to post about it during Blockchain Paris but I went to a RealFi side event and learned about what they're actually doing & discussing how to make Cardano DeFi successful. Honestly: Bullish. Very Bullish. Shoutout @ John O'Connor and RealFi team.

Pretty crazy that Arbitrum has a random unknown group of people called a “Security Council” composed of self appointed, unelected experts who have control of all six infinity stones in that universe.

Crypto Facts - The REAL yield farming
🛰️ How does a satellite image become a blockchain transaction? Here's the full technical stack behind 5am.Earth — explained simply. 🧵 1. It starts 500km above Earth. Satellites capture multi-spectral imagery of farmland in India. AI algorithms detect field boundaries with up to 10x super-resolution. No human needed. No GPS required. 2.The AI identifies the farm. Digifarm's deep neural network models detect field boundaries automatically. 12 years of crop history. NDVI health scores. Seasonal updates. All from space. 3. The data hits the Oracle. @phil_uplc built the Cardano-based oracle that takes this satellite data and puts it on-chain. - Off-chain backend processes the request. - On-chain validators handle the transaction. - Data is tamper-proof and timestamped forever. 4. The Agri-Entrepreneur approve the land border with the farmers and send the transaction on chain with the following metadata Already 5k farm land are on chain 5. Why it is important? One verified data point that unlocks: 💰 Credit 🛡️ Insurance 📊 Fair pricing 🌿 Carbon credits 🏛️ Subsidies This is 5am.Earth. This is @Cardano doing what it was built for. #Cardano #5amEarth #Oracle #SatelliteData #BlockchainForGood #AgriTech @YoramBenzvi @udaisolanki @AiquantTech

Everyone screams ‘Ethereum is decentralized’… really? Ethereum has $85.9B in TVL. Out of that, $83.4B (97%) is locked in just THREE protocols: Lido, Aave, and EigenLayer. Imagine if ONE of them gets hacked or taken down — the entire DeFi house of cards collapses. Meanwhile, Cardano doesn’t need a Lido to offer liquid staking. It’s built natively into the base layer. No single point of failure, no billion-dollar protocol holding the network hostage. Decentralization isn’t about narratives. It’s about design!
