July 1, 2026 will separate crypto infrastructure from crypto improvisation. MiCA does not kill the EU crypto market. It professionalizes it. Thousands of VASP registrations are turning into a much smaller CASP-regulated market. The winners will be the teams that can offer clear roles, compliant custody, auditability and institutional workflows. That is exactly why BlockSign prepared early. With BlockSign Asset Operations, institutions can manage digital assets with role-based access, approval policies, transaction controls and evidence-grade audit trails. And through our partnership with @nbxcom, regulated custody can be separated from the operating platform, giving clients a cleaner structure for MiCA-era digital asset operations. The future is not ā€œone platform does everything.ā€ The future is clear separation: - Operations. - Custody. - Compliance. - Auditability. BlockSign is ready for MiCA-regulated customers.

We’re very happy to join the USDM DeFi Coalition. At BlockSign, we are working to open Cardano DeFi to institutional and professional investors through regulated rails, strong operational standards, custody by @nbxcom and real-world asset utility. We believe sustainable growth comes from infrastructure that is built to be used, not just discussed. That is why we are excited to contribute alongside strong partners and help bring more professional capital into the ecosystem. Thank you for the welcome. Let’s build. #Cardano $USDM #DeFi #RWA
The USDM DeFi Coalition welcomes @BlockSign_io as our newest partner. BlockSign brings institutional-grade RWA infrastructure to the coalition, including direct fGLD minting for institutions and $USDM (@USDMOfficial) on/off-ramp integration powered by @nbxcom. Their deployment: - 10.000 USDM into @FluidTokens lending markets - 67 fGLD (tokenized gold) supplied as collateral - 120.000 ADA deployed across lending pools This is what aligned capital looks like. A European RWA infrastructure company deploying real assets into Cardano DeFi, not to speculate, but to build. The garden grows.

Why Professional Investors Need More Than a Wallet - not only Institutions Most digital asset infrastructure is still discussed as if it were only relevant for institutions, the big guys! That is not only too narrow, it’s wrong! Long before many market participants become regulated institutions, they already become professional investors with institutional-grade problems. Family offices, treasury-heavy SMEs, boutique asset managers, crypto-native investment vehicles, and professional DeFi operators, like high-net-worth allocators may not all sit under the same regulatory perimeter. But they already face the same questions: - Who can move funds? - Who approves? - What limits apply? - How is risk managed? - How is reporting handled? - How do we recover if a signer disappears or a device is lost? That is why the market needs to stop thinking only in terms of wallets. ā—ļøA wallet stores access. āš ļøAn operations platform creates control. A wallet is not an operating model. Once digital assets become meaningful in size or strategy, the key question is no longer: Can we hold the asset? It becomes: Can we operate the asset professionally? A basic wallet may be enough for one person managing small amounts. It is not enough for a team, a treasury, or a professional investor who needs approvals, internal controls, reporting, and continuity planning. Risk management starts before regulation starts: Professional investors need structure not because regulation tells them to, but because capital, stakeholders, and counterparties demand it. Real risk management includes: - user roles - approval workflows - transaction limits - separation of duties - strong authentication - recovery processes - audit evidence That is not bureaucracy. That is operational maturity. UX, reporting, and tax all become operational issues Bad UX creates risk. If workflows are unclear, people make mistakes. The same is true for reporting. ā€œIt’s on-chainā€ is not enough for boards, tax advisors, auditors, or treasury teams. Professional investors increasingly need private, structured, exportable reporting. Tax is where weak operations become expensive. Once activity expands across multiple chains, staking, collateral, lending, internal transfers, and DeFi, the issue is no longer just tax calculation. It is whether activity can still be reconstructed cleanly. Security is broader than custody Security is not only about where the key is stored. It is also about: - who has authority - what policies exist - whether approvals are enforced - how recovery works under stress In practice, real security is: cryptography governance process discipline recoverability Why the @nbxcom partnership matters: This is also why the partnership between BlockSign and NBX matters. Professional investors do not all need the same model. Some want full self-custody. Some want self-custody with disaster recovery. Some need a more regulated setup because counterparties or business plans require it. BlockSign provides the operational layer. Together with Norwegian Block Exchange (NBX), there is also a path into regulated custody for clients who need it. The real value is not just custody. The real value is regulated operability: a credible path from self-sovereign control to professional governance and regulated market access. The market does not just need more access to digital assets. It needs better operations around them. Not everyone needs to become a regulated institution. But everyone operating digital assets professionally will need more structure. That is why the future is not just about wallets. It is about digital asset operating systems. And that is exactly the category BlockSign Asset is building for.

Milestone 2 @Catalyst_onX achieved. BlockSign now delivers AES QES with biometric KYC, natively on Cardano. And with Hausakte24 fully onboarded, this is no longer a prototype, it is live, integrated, and production-ready. Institutional-grade digital trust on Cardano is real. Every signature is a transaction on Cardano! #Cardano #BlockSign #QES #KYC #DigitalTrust

Most institutional integrations on Cardano, including Fireblocks, Utila, Bridge and similar custody stacks, provide institutional access to: • ADA & CNT custody • UTxO-based transfers • Staking • Governance What is typically missing: 1. Native, unrestricted Plutus smart contract execution 2. Full dApp-level interaction across Cardano DeFi And that is not a detail. It is the core issue. It’s the heart of Cardano DeFi but nearly no one noticed. Institutional growth on Cardano will not come from custody alone. It comes from capital deploying into lending, DEXs, RWAs, structured products, into protocols. BlockSign Asset Operations was built specifically around that gap: āœ” Compliant Plutus smart contract interaction āœ” Institutional-grade DeFi execution āœ” Governance participation āœ” Policy-driven approvals & full audit trails āœ” MiCA-aligned custody via Norwegian Block Exchange @nbxcom This is the structural difference: Asset support vs. Protocol participation. Cardano DeFi needs institutional participation. Not just visibility. Not just custody. We are building the infrastructure that enables regulated capital to actively participate.

Regulated institutions can now buy and sell digital gold & silver using proven compliance rails - @notabene_id TRANSACT and @chainalysis - all under the regulated umbrella of our partner @nbxcom. And the best part: they can put that gold to work, MiCA-compliant, in Cardano DeFi with @fluidtokens. Let Cardano TVL rise again šŸ§‘šŸ¼ā€šŸš€ $fGLD $fSLVR
From regulation to execution: MiCA-compliant Cardano DeFi. Cardano DeFi isn’t ā€œjust add ADA custody.ā€ The hard part is Plutus smart contracts on the UTxO model: you must construct a full transaction (inputs/outputs datum/redeemer script witnesses) correctly before it can be signed and submitted. This is why smart-contract support is the most important requirement for Cardano DEX operations: No Plutus interaction support → no swaps, no LP add/remove, no rewards harvesting, no position management. You can store/send ADA… but you can’t actually use DeFi. That’s exactly why @BlockSign_io is live: an institutional-grade Digital Asset Operations platform built for real Cardano DeFi execution, with governance, approvals, and auditability. And with our strategic partner @NBXcom, we deliver the same compliance rails institutions expect (policy controls, segregation of duties, audit trails), MiCA-ready by design. The smart contracts of the following projects are already whitelisted (compliance rails) and no one asked for a single lovelace or tried to raise ā€œcritical integrationā€ funding. Some integrations are simply too important to delay; you just ship them. šŸ«³šŸŽ¤ @MinswapDEX - 100% ready @liqwidfinance - 100% ready incl. health factors etc. in dashboard @FluidTokens - 80% ready, only borrowing missing @finest_tokenize - 60% ready, $fGLD for institutions (hedge) Next steps: 1. Finalize onboarding of a major institution 2. Pitch the platform to a European government agency

Everyone talks about "Institutional Adoption." We actually built the rails for it. šŸ›¤ļø By locking in our licensed custody with @BlockSign’s stack, we’ve created the ultimate no-brainer for firms looking at @Cardano. Secure. Compliant. Clean. The standard has been set. šŸ›”ļøāš”ļø
We’re proud to say that today, BlockSign Digital Asset Operations is the only platform enabling institutions to access the Cardano blockchain and its DeFi ecosystem with a fully regulated, legally compliant setup, including licensed custody via @NBXcom (incl. tech @notabene_id and @chainalysis) Institutional-grade by design: • Non-custodial operations (policies, approvals, reporting) • Regulated custody option through NBX • Cardano smart-contract operability for compliant DeFi participation Do you want a demo? Big milestone for Cardano and Midnight! We’re excited to share that DID:midnight is now officially listed in the W3C DID Methods Registry. Our CTO @DennisMittmann finished the work in the name of @IAM_X_IDENTITY W3C is the global standards body behind the internet itself - and having did:midnight accredited here means our method is now recognized, interoperable, and ready for global adoption. This achievement proves that Midnight’s decentralized identity is built on solid standards, making it easier for wallets, apps, and ecosystems worldwide to integrate and trust it. It’s a huge step forward for Cardano and @MidnightNtwrk , and for the future of decentralized identity. The road ahead is about turning this recognition into adoption - and with the community behind us, the future looks unstoppable. Check it out the W3C Registry below ā¬‡ļø

Why the concept of SSI is unlikely to win commercially in Europe (near term)? A thread 🧵 1/3 Self-sovereign identity (SSI) in its pure form - where users present credentials not anchored in a state or regulated trust framework - faces a structural headwind in Europe. The EU has now hard-wired the market around state-backed EU Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallets under eIDAS 2.0. Member States must issue at least one certified wallet, and large parts of the private sector (banking, telecoms, health, etc.) as well as very large online platforms must be able to accept those wallets by roughly late-2026 to late-2027. That mandate bakes a state-anchored trust and liability model directly into the rails that businesses will integrate, leaving little commercial incentive to accept ā€œself-issuedā€ or purely private credentials at scale. Regulatory compliance turbocharges this. EU AML/KYC rules and EBA onboarding guidance require identity verification against reliable, independent sources, which in practice means government-issued ID (or credentials validated against authoritative/state sources) rather than self-asserted proofs. Commercial risk teams, auditors, and regulators will keep pushing enterprises toward credentials that are either issued by the state (PID in the EUDI wallet) or qualified under eIDAS (e.g., qualified electronic attestations of attributes and trust services). That is the opposite of SSI’s original ā€œnon-stateā€ premise. Finally, public sentiment is converging on state stewardship: Switzerland’s nationwide referendum on 28 September 2025 approved a state-run e-ID (50.4% ā€œYesā€), explicitly rejecting private-operator models that resemble earlier SSI narratives. If even traditionally privacy-conscious Switzerland is choosing a state-operated trust anchor, it’s another signal that commercial ecosystems will standardize on state-backed identity, not self-issued alternatives.

2/3 Evidence & context • EU eIDAS 2.0 is law. Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 (published 30 Apr 2024; in force 20 May 2024) creates the European Digital Identity Framework and mandates Member States provide at least one EUDI Wallet within 24 months of Implementing Acts (adopted 28 Nov 2024). •Business acceptance obligations. By ~2027, private relying parties that already require strong user authentication (finance, telecoms, health, etc.) must accept EUDI Wallets on user request; Very Large Online Platforms (under the DSA) must enable wallet logins. Multiple legal briefs confirm these obligations. •Trust/attribute model. Person Identification Data (PID) in wallets is state-issued; Electronic Attestations of Attributes (EAAs) can be issued by qualified trust service providers and must be verifiable against authentic sources—again reinforcing state/official data as the anchor. •AML/KYC reality. EU AMLD and EBA guidelines require verification using reliable, independent sources; industry practice centers on government IDs for high-risk/regulated flows. •Switzerland’s signal. The E-ID Act was approved on 28 Sept 2025 (50.39% yes), after a 2021 rejection of a private model—pointing to a state-run approach that businesses will follow.

3/3 Assumption - ā€œWhich commercial provider will accept ID data not issued by a state?ā€ •Regulated transactions (banking, SIM registration, healthcare, qualified e-signing): Expect state-anchored or qualified credentials only (PID in EUDI Wallet; EAAs verified against authentic sources). Accepting non-state, non-qualified credentials would conflict with AML/KYC and sectoral rules. •Lower-risk use cases (age gating, loyalty, workplace/education credentials): Some non-state issuers (employers, universities, payment providers) will be acceptable if their credentials are issued under eIDAS-compatible schemes (qualified/non-qualified EAAs) and can be traced to authentic sources. But that is not ā€œpure SSIā€; it is regulated verifiable credentials inside the EUDI framework. FAZIT: In Europe’s commercial market, the winning pattern is wallet-based, state-anchored identity with regulated trust services - not pure SSI. SSI ideas (user control, selective disclosure) will survive inside the EUDI stack, but as part of a government-backed and certified trust framework rather than an independent, self-issued ecosystem. For IAMX, this is a clear challenge - and it compels us to seek out new opportunities and pathways.

Some might say Gold is the better stablecoin! With Cardano - and soon @MidnightNtwrk - this is no longer just a theory. Here’s why physically backed gold tokens are becoming a powerful economic complement to traditional stablecoins - and why Begin Wallet teamed up with @finest_tokenize to make them accessible, even for people who’ve never touched crypto. šŸ‘‡ 1/ Traditional stablecoins (USDC, USDT) are pegged to fiat - which inflates, devalues, and depends on centralized issuers. Gold doesn’t do that. Gold is the peg. And it’s tokenized!
