Thanks @timkmak from @NPR for reporting on our deep fake detection method developed at @USC_ISI and funded by @DARPA MediFor program
NEW: Computer scientists from USC have developed a method of detecting deep fakes with 96% accuracy.
It uses AI to detect inconsistencies between existing real videos of the subject and test cases.
Project was funded by DARPA.
