Imagine not showing up for your job for 20 years.
"No-Show Tom." Just like he was a no-show while Buffalo was going broke and a no show while ICE colludes with our police to terrorize our immigrant neighbors. He has power and he's nowhere to be found. After 20 years without a primary, DiNapoli finally has to defend his record - and he can't even show up to the one upstate debate. The exact type of establishment complacency New Yorkers are sick of. Time for change.

There was money available to ensure no one lost their Essential Plan coverage and @GovKathyHochul CHOSE not to use it. Nearly 500,000 NYers will lose health insurance July 1 because the Governor is letting that happen.
State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins seemed to blame Gov. Hochul for lack of action to help 450k NYers set to lose Essential Plan health insurance in July. "We did try. We suggested different ways," she said. "The governor, you know, was frankly not a supporter."

Thank you, @CaringMRising! My mother and aunt are home care workers and all of us have advocated for reform. I’m excited to join the coalition of legislators who care.
BREAKING: Caring Majority Rising is proud to announce our 2026 Candidates Who Care endorsement slate! We are standing behind these candidates because they understand what is at stake for our members and for the millions of New Yorkers who depend on home care. These 46 incumbents and challengers have committed to building a home care system that works for the people who depend on it, not Wall Street and private equity. They have committed to fighting for fair pay for home care workers, for real oversight of how Medicaid dollars are spent, and for removing corporate middlemen from a system that should exist to serve people, not maximize profits. Our endorsement means that these candidates have earned the trust of home care workers, older and disabled New Yorkers, and family caregivers to deliver a New York that truly prioritizes care over profits. We are proud to stand behind candidates who recognize that New Yorkers deserve Care Not Corruption – let’s get these champions elected! With hope, The Caring Majority Rising Endorsement Team [Part 1 of 2] @RagaForQueens @votejgr @LeroyComrie @JuliaCarmel__ @JabariBrisport @yuhline @CordellForNY @Rivera4TheBronx @Shelley4Senate @mayorjoerand @evanmenist @SenatorHinchey @RachelMayNY @leawebbforny @samraforsenate @Gonzalez4NY @AprilBaskin716 @AndrewHevesi @osterforus @Brianr4NY @DianaforQueens @Samantha4Queens @david4queens @Bobby4Brooklyn @EmilyAssembly @JoAnneSimonBK52 @CCT4NYC @illapaNYC @phara4assembly @latricewalker @ryderkessler @LindaBRosenthal @DianaAyalaNYC @ConradforHarlem @KarinesReyesNYC @DanaLevenberg @BurdickAD93 @EachusAD99 @sarahana @AMKelles @sarahhartclark @bojackforassembly

.@GovKathyHochul literally is “the side” that is triggering this strike. If she wanted to settle this contract she would not have hired the anti-worker hatchet-man, destructive Gary Dellaverson , to represent her in bargaining. His involvement dramatically increases the chances of @LIRR workers shutting the stem down. Under her instructions, he is leading @MTA to the edge of the cliff , Hochul’s actions here are nearly at the point of no return. A strike is now highly likely. Anti-Worker Governors need Anti-Worker Lawyers, and Hochul is getting what she wanted. @LIFEDofLABOR @TWULocal100 @transportworker @NYSAFLCIO @CentralLaborNYC
NEW: @GovKathyHochul “called into this morning’s negotiations with one simple message: getting a deal requires both sides to work together, including labor. Nobody wins in a strike - riders will suffer and thousands of workers will lose out on wages they need.” #NBC4NY

🚨📞URGENT: We need our Medicaid. We need our home care. @GovKathyHochul MUST tax the rich to defend New Yorkers from Trump’s healthcare cuts and decide: our lives or her donors? Call her office using the script below: ☎️ Hi, this is {NAME], calling from ZIP code [#####]. I’m calling to ask you to support taxes on the rich to fund a budget that works for all of us. Trump’s cuts to Medicaid will devastate hundreds of thousands of home care workers, older adults, and people with disabilities in New York. Half a million New Yorkers will be thrown off their Essential Plan healthcare on July 1, and that’s just the beginning. If the state budget doesn’t tax the rich, you are complicit with Trump’s cuts to healthcare. We’re asking you to be a governor for the working class, not the CEO class. Tax the rich.

NOT THE BAGELS :( Private equity ruins everything :( Private equity out of home care, NY bagels, and everything else tbh! #CareNotCorruption
Private equity has been moving into the bagel business. As bagels have grown in popularity, private equity started eying local chains. Call Your Mother Deli, PopUp Bagels, H&H Bagels have all gotten major investments, or been bought out. These investors reportedly see the bagel industry as having unfilled potential for growth. nytimes.com/2026/04/14/dinin…

This is such an obvious budget choice NY state leaders should make. Ensure NYers don’t lose their health coverage. We have the funds to do it. But @GovKathyHochul seems fine to blame republicans and pretend she can’t do anything.
Federal approval of the Essential Plan transition freed up $2.5B in state funds—more than enough to provide permanent coverage for the 470K Essential Plan enrollees set to lose coverage in July, and gap coverage for 800K New Yorkers disenrolled due to Medicaid work requirements

Tens of thousands of workers lost access to healthcare as a result of the CDPAP transition last year. Neither Governor Hochul nor PPL has acted to restore them.

📢 NOW! GOVERNOR HOCHUL: OUR LIVES OR YOUR DONORS? NYers are occupying @govkathyhochul’s office to demand she Tax the Rich to defend our Medicaid and home care! The federal cuts to Medicaid are life threatening to us. The cuts we’re seeing in the coming months are just the beginning. Hochul must decide: lifesaving care for New Yorkers, or the interests of her billionaire donors?

New Yorkers impacted by Essential Plan changes—including 450,000 who will lose coverage in July—are about to receive this confusing letter. “No action needed” can mean the state is moving you to another plan, or you’re on your own. We need S9589 to keep New Yorkers insured!

Utter fucking disgrace to the Democratic Party that she’s leading the charge on this
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "It's just wrong to make Americans think that every single Palestinian in Gaza was a member of Hamas. That's just not true. There were tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians murdered by these bombs that were dropped on them. And now the same thing is happening in Lebanon."
