It’s quite grotesque that just 5 years after Grenfell multiple candidates for Prime Minister can assert they’re for cutting “red tape” without any challenge.

Nadhim Zahawi should focus on why life is getting harder for most people in Britain after 12 years of his party being in power rather than make hateful slurs against me. His sorry attempt to excuse his previous support for Johnson trivialises the fight against antisemitism.

Just today we’ve had a Tory MP suggest women should not be able to make decisions about their own bodies, we’ve had a protestor the government doesn’t like apprehended by police and we’ve been told that only the Prime Minister can approve an investigation into his own conduct

Nobody is complaining ( as Starmer implies) that he has changed his mind since he was a teenager. The issue is that he has dropped every single one of the 10 pledges he made in 2020 to get elected leader.

we already did a decade of austerity in response to an economic crisis, and the outcome was a collapse in living standards for everyone but the ruling classes, who became wealthier than they've ever been in human history, without even delivering on promised economic stability

Last week the @Conservatives legislated to bring in agency workers to break strikes, now the @LibDems are proposing that the Army should do the same. It is quite clear that these people do not stand with the workers of this country. Never has it been more important to #JoinAUnion

This is a lie. 81.5% voted for this action. There is no “15% pay rise” on offer. There is no “£7,000 more a year”. Junior criminal barristers will remain on less than minimum wage. Read the truth here: x.com/barristersecret/status…

Does the Labour front bench even understand that BA workers aren’t asking for a pay rise, just a restoration of the 10% pay cut they were hit with during the pandemic?

This is a widespread misapprehension. Successful asylum applicants will *not* be able to return from Rwanda to the UK. This is why such changes should require parliamentary scrutiny and approval. It's harder to maintain this kind of error when voting on a policy line by line.

We live in the age of the jabby, confrontational interview & the RMTs, Mick Lynch, has had a few of them. If you treat people with respect, you can still ask tough questions & get decent answers allowing your audience to make their own minds up @5_News

Robert, don't know what the news reporting is like under that rock upon on which you're living, but I have to tell you mate, Dave ain't on strike! Such a shame after you've spent all that time making such a pretty meme as well!

It's a good idea. In Japan. Sadly, due to the draconian anti-trade union legislation in the UK meaning only affected workers can be balloted, any attempt to replicate this in the guards dispute would involve other grades, be deemed secondary action and, therefore, illegal. Sorry.

Bravo to those Labour MPs and party members defying the party whip and showing solidarity and support for essential workers on the railways. These same workers kept our railways running despite hugely hostile government intervention for more than a decade.
