Some users in the Illustrator community have complained about the invasiveness of the new "Print Bleed" generative AI button, which appeared a few weeks ago. The team has been working to provide a quick fix, and the Generative Print Bleed now has a preference to hide the icon (29.6.1).
I find the new feature very helpful: if you set up a Bleed for your document, Illustrator can now generate vectors to fill the Bleed area, so that you don't have to cut into your artwork.

Use MATE for the simple things
Resetting nested items to 100% opacity, even when items are on different levels and layers.
I don’t even bother checking if there's another way.
I just ask MATE to do it.
