A third of New Zealand’s fuel comes from Singapore.
That’s why, this past week, we locked in an agreement to help keep fuel coming and New Zealand moving. It means petrol and diesel will keep flowing even in uncertain times, giving New Zealand greater resilience against global shocks and disruption. We’re also strengthening our fuel security at home by increasing reserves and making sure New Zealand is better prepared for whatever comes our way.
In a more uncertain world, this is about backing New Zealand, keeping the country moving, and giving Kiwis confidence that the essentials will keep flowing when we need them most.
