You can save yourself from a lifetime of suffering by taking this one step: Never do any medical intervention/treatment/medication/procedure that has a harm group online, such as on Facebook.

For those who haven't been following -- and nobody's been following because nobody cares, least of all the journalists' NGOs -- Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been steadily releasing death notifications for one "journalist" after another, listing them invariably as fighters and commanders in the organizations' ranks. It's dozens now. Maybe more. But the "Israel targets journalists" meme is forever. The facts will never penetrate the thick fog of ideological confirmation bias that has overtaken the NGO and activism world and its journalistic arms in the mainstream media. Literally no one cares about whether journalists were actually hunted down by Israel, as it was depicted by @pressfreedom and others, or whether Hamas used fake "journalist" claims to protect combatant commanders, counting on a global NGO and media ecosystem it knew was looking to confirm its biases. No one will examine these falsehoods or report on them in a visible way because no one cares about the wellbeing of the real journalists, who are desperately endangered when combatant commanders are labeled "journalists" -- and even the world's major journalist advocacy groups decide to play along.
🧵FAKE Gaza Journalist Alert: Helmi Al-Faqawi is listed by @pressfreedom as a journalist killed by the IDF at a "reporter's tent" at Nasser Hospital. But PIJ confirmed he was a commander—he used the hospital as a base. The 14th fake journalist outed in the last few weeks. 1/

Sometimes because I can’t read everything due to my print disability I miss details and I repost something that I wish I didn’t. I just did this. This is why I try to keep a list of people I can trust in terms of content but sometimes I get ahead of myself and make mistakes.

I actually agree with this. Influencers and advocates should absolutely disclose relevant conflicts of interest. So should ALL nonprofits, which should include addiction medicine and others that benefit from opioid reduction. That would include Shatterproof, Partnership for Drug Free NJ, Rummler Hope, and those pushing nonsense like Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
Doctors don't get paid for writing a particular prescription—in fact, that would be illegal. Influencers get paid when you buy their peptides. Yet this is rarely discussed, as if physicians are the only ones with potential conflicts of interest. That's BEYOND baffling! Hate to break it to you: your favorite influencer never took a Hippocratic oath.

SSRIs are used to treat sex offenders because they’re so effective at reducing testosterone, libido, etc. 2009 psych recommendations - still used today. cdn.mdedge.com/files/s3fs-pu…

A study on 6.6M FAERS reports shows strong, repeated signals of the same symptoms that define PSSD. It doesn’t name it — it documents it. Persistence isn’t missing from the data; it’s missing from studies designed not to see it. 👇🏻 sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

How mental health professionals who work with children become an authoritarian enforcement arm: When a child is drowning in an abusive home dynamic or a factory-model school system, they teach the child "coping skills": "Let's use mindfulness when you feel trapped." "Let's reframe your negative thoughts about your family using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)." It's the ultimate betrayal because they're essentially saying: The environment is fixed, neutral, and unchangeable. Therefore, your inability to tolerate it is a defect in your coping mechanism. It transforms a structural, moral problem into a personal, technical maintenance issue.

After being bullied at work, Emma Price tried to take her own life. Her doctors told her family that she was brain dead. “They prepared to turn her life support off on Monday and started planning her funeral. But hours before her life support was due to be turned off, Emma opened her eyes.” Emma recovered and is interviewed about her experience in Richie Brown and Jacqui Deevoy’s new documentary, “Give the Gift of Life?” Dead people don’t get better. People diagnosed as being brain dead are neurologically injured, but they are not dead.

I have never been political. I am a medical specialist for 34 years in good standing with my regulatory body and up to date @Royal_College . I am now consumed with patient advocacy and it seems like no matter how many stories and patient tragedies I hear and read about, the situation just keeps getting worse. How is it possible that the people in the highest echelons of power in BC (including the last stop 🛑) are oblivious to the tragedies happening to their own citizens. A party that is about a chance at the Canadian dream, equal rights, employment and fair wages @avilewis would John Horgan have done something? 100% yes. Here is a concrete call to action ⬇️ 1 Recommend the establishment of an independent public inquiry into BC's involuntary psychiatric system. 2Conduct a province-wide audit of Mental Health Act compliance, including mandatory forms and detention procedures 3Create independent oversight and governance mechanisms for Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) programs 4Enlist Bar Associations to help reform the Mental Health Act to provide separate and enhanced protections for children and youth. 5Mandate automatic referral of all involuntary patients, especially children and youth, to independent rights advisors. Full 30 page report for those interested in the intersection of medicine, technology and the law in BC @TELUS @brittlecolumbia @LionAdvocacy @EvanLSolomon @MarjoriePLC

Women with PMDD are told to start and stop SSRIs every 2 weeks. The claim: this avoids long-term problems. The reality: no long-term data. Can we assume putting a brain through 12 start-stop cycles a year is safe? How do we know this isn't kindling?

I don’t post for popularity. This account is to document my experiences with drug injuries and the unusual and almost impossible circumstances it causes when dealing with devastating chronic health issues. I also try to keep others with these drug injuries alive and safe.

Help if can…
6/13/2026 Update Dear Friends, Thank you so much for your support and for sharing this fundraiser. I just finished a 2 night sleep study at home and waiting for the results- this was the 5th sleep study since 2007. We are also waiting to hear from Weill Cornell for a 2nd opinion appt from their Pituitary Program. My primary care provider is also going to send a referral there. So hopefully we hear from them soon. I have an appt with my primary care this next week to go over labs and discuss the 2nd opinion appt After the appt at the Cleveland Clinic, I spoke to a national Acromegaly advocate on the phone and he said that they should've scheduled me with the endocrinologist first, as this condition requires an endocrinologist. I also have a list of conditions that require an endocrinologist, so hopefully that will get sorted soon. If the neuroendocrinologist ok New York takes me as a patient, I will be using that neuroendocrinologist. I still am scheduled with the endocrinologist in August, but Im not sure I will be keeping that appt Thank all of you again and I will continue to keep you updated! @thecribby At least in Ontario they get a panel PRIOR to bring force drugged. BC is the only province that force drugs you without a panel or hearing prior. @drannamedical @LionAdvocacy @NickWagterdsxs @BCOmbudsperson

Addiction medicine is a Suboxone cult There’s a generation hooked on these heroin films We need investigations conducted into addiction orgs like @Shatterproof and ASAM who are funded by opioid maker, @Indivior
Replying to @l_u_n_a13 @CMerandi
The addiction industry pays people to go out and stir the pot. Creating drama is their whole business plan. They don't represent the majority of people. I think if that was better communicated 16 years ago we wouldn't be here today. The public assumed they had nothing to gain.

If a medication can cause insomnia, anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction, emotional numbness, cognitive decline, and even suicidal thoughts… Why weren’t patients clearly informed? How can someone give informed consent if they were never told what was possible? Families are left trying to understand what happened while regulators, manufacturers, and healthcare systems move slowly. Patients deserved honesty. Families deserved honesty. The question remains: How many lives could have been different if people had simply been told the truth? #PFS #PSSD #MoralMedicine #MilanoProject #JusticeForHenryPetition #AVFIN_asso #IatrogenicHarm

If you have chronic health conditions and for some reason you are being forced to see a psychiatrist and you might face consequences for “noncompliance,” seeing a functional medicine physician would be an alternative even the sickest patients can do instead—and get away with.

If there are extreme mental health symptoms (psychosis not caused by adverse reactions to Rx drugs which is more common than it appears and is easily missed) involved in these situations, and an actual psychiatrist is a must then finding a “holistic psychiatrist” is best.

I don’t like recommending this but there are rare circumstances where this is necessary in the context of chronic illnesses. But, it’s probably about 1 in 200 chronically ill patients who are “referred” to psychiatry who would actually benefit from a “holistic psychiatrist.”

Worth noting that Mehdi Hasan’s recent hate binge and rhetorical escalation are also a sign that his cause is losing its sway over the Western public and a bid for in-group cohesion. He’s had to attack Seinfeld, John Cleese, Bari Weiss, and Mark Dubowitz in the span of the last 24 hours alone to do damage control within his cohorts, which are losing steam and legitimacy. It’s incendiary and not to be taken lightly, but the doubling down seems to stem from realizing his narratives are unwinding and need defending.
