I imagine feeling accepted was a huge part of the case for Jason Tickle. Wanting to be considered the same as women. Has it worked? No. He got one woman fined, but she doesn’t now magically think he’s a woman. None of us do. The case only exists as he’s a man. The case in itself is evidence that he’s male. He won the court case, but made himself loathed in the process. He highlighted glaring issues with legislation, left women without their rights and made Australia look utterly batshit. All in the name of acceptance. What an exercise in futility. Sall however has overwhelmingly won public opinion and on that basis laws will be changed, which is the real solution to this mess.

It's true. It's happening. My x-ray was evaluated by a Radiographer, the person who take the images. Not a Radiologist who interprets the images and make diagnoses. The Radiographer relayed their opinion to the GP receptionist, one word, 'moderate'. The receptionist when asked said, 'no further action mentioned' Ask for appointment with GP, wait 1 week. The GP doesn't see the x-ray and states that more tests are not needed. I am left, on my own to work out what to do next.

If you don't understand something as basic why women and girls need separate toilet blocks, including handbasins, I assume there is something very wrong with you and I don't think you belong in a classroom teaching children.

Well, sometimes our hands are stained with menstrual blood after dealing with our female hygiene needs. I have occasionally had to wash a blood stain out of a skirt or trousers, to avoid embarrassment. And then, of course, boys kick the cubicle doors in. For a laugh.

Spoken like an incel for whom kids are a theoretical concept not a lived experience. Boys know exactly what they get from being in girls spaces: access, harassment, abuse, peeping, targeting and even groping. In case you forgot why we separate boy and girls rooms around 9.

Scenario: little girl is made fun of because her heavy period has bled through. She needs a little privacy to wash her skirt and wipe away the tears of exhaustion, physical pain and embarrassment. She may or may not need her girl friends to comfort her and help. But what she doesn't need is teenage boys. She doesn't need to have them stare, ask questions, joke & laugh, or even just see her at her most vulnerable. There are many many other reasons why privacy, dignity and safety are necessary. This school and anyone who flippantly disregards the real lived experience of girls and women are an absolute bloody disgrace!

My husband is a teacher of 30 years with 2 daughters & he doesn't need to be told why girls need privacy from boys. He observes daily the way that teenage boys behave towards girls cos he's not an ignorant misogynistic fool. You are clearly not up to your job

They want privacy for safety reasons. They want to be able to go to a room and pull down their pants where there aren't men present. They don't need your permission to want this.

Yes, the people who call themselves 'trans' exist and they deserve exactly the same rights as everyone else, which, fortunately, they already have in the UK. It would rightly be considered discrimination if a person was refused employment, housing or the vote because they identified as trans. 'Trans women are women' is a thought-terminating cliché. Men are not women. That doesn't mean they're not allowed to present themselves however they like, call themselves whatever they like and believe whatever they like about themselves. It means they haven't changed sex. If we replace the objective, observable characteristic of sex with the unfalsifiable concept of gender identify, women and girls lose, among other things, their right to fair and safe sport and women-only spaces, including changing rooms, prison cells and rape crisis services. Women and girls are provably more vulnerable to forms of abuse including sexual assault, harassment and voyeurism in mixed-sex spaces. There is no evidence that trans-identified men don't have exactly the same rates of criminal offending as all other men. Trans people exist. I have no desire for them not to exist; indeed, I wish them safety, happiness and health. However, 'existence' does not, and should not, mean the violation of other people's right to privacy, dignity and freedom of speech, or the reconfiguration of society to indulge a fallacy.

With the absolute state of the Health Service, this is ridiculous in the extreme. Children die, crippled in pain while the state rewards failure.

I seen his comments on this show, and it really irked me. Leo Varadkar is/was a welfare recipient - just the same as every other politician in the country. He doesn't/didn't fund, or subsidise, anything; he is funded, and subsidised, by the Irish taxpaying private market. His attempt to create an 'us v them' narrative between rural and urban Irish people - and to essentially 'other' farmers - is a disgrace. The only us v them, is us normal, everyday working people, and establishment figures like him who make incompetent decision after incompetent decision, to the detriment of us all, free from accountability. That's what needs to change.

I hope whatever “package” the government is going to announce includes fuel support for carers, those with disabilities, the elderly etc etc, not just the people who have the ability to park up lorry’s and tractors for days. Remember this government said no to @IrishWheelchair
