Wonderful time helping out at @Seawilding’s WildSeas Weekend, displaying some of the PhD work happening at Loch Craignish
Great to see people of all ages engrossed in the sounds of seagrass and oyster reefs (and colouring!)
We also managed to squeeze in some sunny fieldwork ☀️

Our learning team have been busy creating a new Dive-In pack, all about #seagrass.
Seagrasses are extremely important to the #marineenvironment, providing safe habitats, storing carbon & playing a key role in tackling #climatechange.

We also tapped into the underwater soundscape, taking some sound recordings to listen for crab crunches and fish grunts… very excited to look at that data!

It was such a treat to help inject seeds into the mudflats - now we just have to wait patiently for them to germinate🌱
