A little something I’ve been working on - I ported the MiSTer NES core to the #GameBub. There’s still work to do - Accuracy Coin is currently 135/140 but games seem to runs great. I don’t want to release this until @eli_lipsitz releases his updated firmware with the horizontal Game Bub so I can ensure it’s compatible, but I think this provides a decent framework for porting over other MiSTer cores. Which core should I work on next?

Exclusive interview with one of the designers of the #NeoGeo AES ! Here are some of the most interesting details revealed during the interview. _The original controller ports have been retained to ensure an experience identical to the original AES, with zero latency when using wired controllers. _The console features an analog video output using the Mega Drive 2/Genesis 2 mini-DIN connector, a choice made to provide stereo audio, unlike the original AES output which was limited to mono sound. _A custom BIOS developed by @furrtek replaces the UniBIOS. It includes modern features such as AES/MVS mode selection, region switching, MVS soft dips, memory card management, and high-score saving. _The console also incorporates Furrtek's smart overclocking feature, allowing the CPU frequency to be increased from 16 MHz to 24 MHz to reduce slowdown in certain games. Its effectiveness will still depend on the cartridges' ability to keep up with the higher operating speed. _The Neo Geo AES simply would not exist without Furrtek's documentation work and technical expertise. _Particular attention has been paid to the shell design, build quality and even the weight of the console and accessories. #SNK _Production costs vary significantly depending on the size of each game. Among the first ten announced titles, MOTW is reportedly the most expensive to manufacture. _Re-releases, brand-new games, and even sequels are reportedly being considered for the platform's future. youtube.com/watch?v=1RQGni4P…

PGM really needs H/V adjustment controls to fit nicely on a regular CRT. I added a horizontal scaler to the core so you can stretch out the image to fit. It works really well! I was surprised that there aren't more visible scaling artifacts.

Kudos to @srg320 for another great contribution. BTW, these games are too large for the Analogue Pocket memory in case someone is wondering.

Since I am already blocked you’ll probably never see it but damn I’ve heard of taking a knee but you’ve gotten down on both. This code stolen? Heard you have a friend who’s great at theft and felonies

“Our console is an accurate FPGA-based system; it’s not emulation.” But when it can’t interface with actual hardware (which is, by the way, one of the key differences between real hardware and emulation), the response is: “We do not offer support for third-party devices.” Okay.

Went to the Dentist. Got a souvenir. Asked for the STL files too so I won't have to scan these myself. They some how make everything scarier.

It’s great to get new cores from developers that didn’t get arrested for theft and fraud and still owe people for arcade boards they accepted than never paid for. Also devs that didn’t get sued for elder abuse. But I am picky about that 🤷🏾‍♂️😉it’s not an attractive thing

A close friend of mine recently asked where the best place is to get a #MiSTerFPGA as quickly as possible. Since he’s based in the UK, I recommended the MiSTer Multisystem 2 from Heber. He ordered it, and it arrived in no time, within just a few days. He’s a very technical guy, with a solid understanding of hardware, and he’s been thoroughly impressed. He’s been pushing it to its limits, and so far, it’s performed flawlessly. @MultisystemFPGA
