There's a reason I stopped caring about American politics because we either have one side that will flood middle America with every possible third world migrant and erect George Floyd statues in churches or we have to constantly be bitch smacked by an entirely ungrateful country we support and have Trump DOJ officials try to ruin a young man's life for turning down a job offer from a Jewish guy.
It's all entirely unfixable.

While my point in my post stands, the UK simultaneously killed anonymous internet usage. Adults will need to ID verify and have facial biometrics to use social media.
They are planning on rounding people up for their posts.
Just to be clear, this is not to protect children or for their safety. It's to stop children from viewing right wing opinions on social media so the UK can maintain their narrative that everything is great.

When I was at Cornell university, it became VERY clear that most of the student body was Jewish
Easily 30-40% of the school is Jewish
Another 15-20% was Chinese (literally from China)
Both groups at Cornell were some of the most insufferable, hateful, and exclusionary people I have EVER met

A 19-year-old college student quietly turns down a job interview, stupidly telling the company it's because he doesn't want to work for a Jew.
Within two days:
-- The billionaire founder of one of the world's most powerful corporations (Palantir) demands that the company release his the student's to the world. The company instantly complies.
-- National media trumpet the incident and spread the student's name and face all over the place.
-- A senior Trump DOJ official repeatedly urges the public to notify him if that student is ever hired anywhere in the future, promising to use his office to keep the student permanently unemployable.
Adults with large, influential platforms -- pundits, media types, even elected officials -- right here on X routinely say things as bad as, and often much worse than, pretty much every other group you can think of without facing a single consequence let alone a completely unhinged coordinated campaign of very powerful people to run their lives forever:

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just published all 14 clauses of the MoU. Read them carefully, because this is not the deal Trump described.
The headline numbers: $300 billion in reconstruction commitments from the US and allies. $24 billion in released frozen funds, half before negotiations even start. Complete naval blockade lifted within 30 days. US forces withdrawn from around Iran.
Here's the big one: Hormuz reopens under Iranian arrangements, meaning Iran keeps management of the strait.
The nuclear clause is Clause 9: Iran reiterates its commitment not to produce nuclear weapons. That's it. No enrichment cap. No dismantlement. No inspector access beyond existing frameworks.
The actual nuclear terms get negotiated in a separate 60-day window, and Clause 14 explicitly removes Iran's missile program and support for resistance groups from the agenda entirely. Permanently.
Iran's Deputy FM called it a total victory this morning. He wasn't spinning.
