"Previously, the worst place that you'd want to be is in the middle. It's not like you're truly contending... you're not low enough from an odds standpoint to realize a top pick.
Yes, of course you can find talent all over the draft, there's plenty of examples. But historically, the likelihood of getting a player who can change the complextion of your franchise is found at the top of the draft.
But now, it's not going to be the case anymore from the standpoint of the odds shifting. Now, being in the middle is not necessarily a bad thing... I think teams are still trying to figure out how to value those picks, especially in the future."

Wasn’t too long ago that another Panthers great dealt with similar setbacks. If Brooks can come back like TD did, this team is in for a huge boost 👀

Tackle was the Panthers biggest need heading into the draft, not sure why anyone thought otherwise.
All due respect but signing a guy for one year, $4M did not solve their LT program.
Drafting the guy who many think is the best T in the draft solves it for 2026 & beyond.

The Panthers 354 million dollars in free agency the last 2 seasons. 311 million of those dollars were spent on defensive free agents.
I don’t understand why yall are obsessed with drafting defense first round every year and making it about Bryce when they don’t.
I have just resigned to the fact that a Canales led team isn’t going to draft defense in the first round until Bryce is playing at a pro bowl level.
