For the last 1.5 years, we've been secretly building the tool of my dreams. 👋Introducing Botsi: AI Pricing Models for your subscription app We built Botsi to optimize the #1 lever to grow your app: Pricing Finally, we’re ready to share it with the world. 🌎 How does it work? ➡️ It’s pretty simple. Add a few API calls to your app. ➡️ A custom AI model gets trained. ➡️ It connects with your existing tech stack. ➡️ Botsi tells you which paywall or price to show. ➡️ Revenue goes up. The secret is that there is no single right price for everyone. Botsi builds and trains a custom model on your app's contextual, behavioral, and subscription conversion data. Then, your AI model will tell you which paywall to show to which user to optimize LTV. You can use Botsi with whatever you're using today, so it's very fast to get started. We'll work with you to figure out the right data to send into the model and continually iterate and retrain on new data and price points. ❤️This has been a labor of love over the last year of building, testing, and improving. We appreciate everyone who has supported us so far to get here. We're onboarding new apps as fast as we can. Save your spot in line, and we'll reach out to schedule a call and chat!

Would you rather have higher prices and fewer people using your product? OR Multiple offers to show the right offer to the right user and have more people using your product? (and making more money)

Very few people in the world have deep experience with hybrid monetization strategies. Cristian Rotari got 40% of people buying yearly plans to purchase an upsell!! This was for Zing Coach a brand doing millions Other world-class insights: 💡 Treat willingness to pay as a spectrum, not a yes or no A subscription has one price, so it reads willingness to pay as binary: someone paid or they didn't. Real demand is spread across a wide range. 💰 Sell more to the people who already paid Promote subscriptions to non-subscribers, and promote upsells only to subscribers. Monetize the high intent you already have instead of leaving it unattended. 🎁 Start with in-app purchases, not ads Cristian recommends starting with in-app purchases for most apps. Ads are a different beast. They are a volume business and they are not easy to manage. For most apps, IAPs are the easier and more profitable first step. Thanks for coming on the podcast, Cristian! A Botsi client is seeing a 156% increase in ARPU for the most recent week! If you're still showing the same offer to every user, you're missing out.

I'm helping hire a MarTech senior IC to work at the intersection of marketing (UA), data science & engineering, ideally web app. The role subtitle and core requirement is to be an AI automation locomotive. AI wizzards & talibans welcome. Full time, full remote, EU only

Something I repeat over and over again to app founders: 📢 Your onboarding doesn't stop after the paywall! Keep the same guidance and motivation you built pre-paywall 1. Your home page is confusing and overwhelming, don't just drop people on it and say, "good luck!" 2. Most apps use trials, so you need a trial conversion, trial conversions don't happen from confused users 3. Forget about monetization for a sec, people are still figuring out how your app fits into their lives. 4. Your app UI isn't as intuitive as you think help your users!!! P.S. if you think your trial conversion rate is good because you're comparing it to benchmarks, remember benchmarks are averages that include all the terrible apps. 2x that benchmark to get your real target

You should always know that doing this carries a risk of either rejection from the App Store or a complete ban. I know half a dozen apps that got banned because of this.
payment sheets have been ripping lately ARPU with stripe is much higher cause of less fees higher friction cancellation if ur building an app look into using this only select clients of superwall have access

Multiple Botsi clients have used us to help their international expansion They've achieved success in one market, but they know their pricing and offers aren't right for other markets. How do you figure out the right price for each new market? It's kind of impossible if you're a new app and don't have enough volume to A/B test every single new country accurately Usually, you just default to some standard localizations. Or you see terrible RoAS in certain countries and have to turn off ads. What if you could launch a spectrum of prices and paywalls, and automatically show them to the right user? Your app has a different value to different people Stop treating them all the same

Small hack. I use it in my own apps. Adding a «No payment required now» text above the purchase button increases conversions almost every time. We don’t fully know why – it just works.

In my 10 years in mobile growth, pricing and packaging are always the largest wins. 📈 Here are REAL results from a new client using AI Pricing: Week 1: 118% ARPU lift Week 2: 35% ARPU lift Week 3: 153% ARPU lift (so far) AI-powered offers and paywalls are the future of monetization. What you don't realize is that the top 0.1% of apps are already building sophisticated AI/ML models to show personalized offers. Tinder, Flo, etc. have built this in-house If you're not thinking about how to show the right offer to the right user, you're falling behind.

Churn is the silent killer to your subscription growth Dan Layfield (Codecademy and Uber), teaches us his Four Horsemen of Churn. I’m going to give you 4 tips so you get excited to go listen to the rest of Dan’s Price Power Podcast episode: Turn Off Monthly Receipts Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime. No one sends you monthly email receipts. You get the first one. And then they turn it off. The Annual Pricing Trick "If you price your annual plans at one or two months more than your average monthly retention, you can literally double your LTV." Average retention is 5 months? Price annual at 6 months. Moving from in-app purchases and starting to test web subscriptions? These are for you. Cancellation Flows Save 20% "The trio of pausing subscriptions, getting temporary discounts, upgrading and downgrading... does a good job of maybe knocking like 20% off your churn number." Fix Stripe Payment Retries "The first place I check in every single company I've ever worked for is their Stripe settings. All those changes can probably be done in 10 minutes and maybe you're winning like 5% of churn back." PricePowerPodcast (.) com Thank you, Dan!

A Tinder PM talked about how their ML-driven paywalls drove millions in new revenue for them on RevenueCat's Subclub Top Takeaways: 🤖Users need fewer options, not more "Decision overload kills conversion. Tinder saw multimillion-dollar annual revenue gains by using ML to predict and surface the single best product for each user instead of showing every tier and plan at once." But, how in the world do you build sophisticated AI/ML models when you're not a massive company like Tinder? This is why we built Botsi :) Want AI models like Tinder to figure out the right offer for each user? We're here to help.

Mojo tested a 100% price increase. New revenue went up. They didn't ship it. Here's why: seven-day cancellation rates spiked. Their 13-month projection showed it would have destroyed long-term revenue. The 50% increase held up instead, and they rolled it out across the US, Germany, France, and Spain. Mchal Parizek ran these tests at Mojo. On the Price Power Podcast, he walked through exactly how they evaluate price tests without waiting a year for renewal data. A few things that stuck with me: 📆 20-30% of subscription cancellations happen in the first 7 days. That's enough to project renewal rates for the full year. 🍏 Apple sets regional prices using exchange rates only. No purchasing power. Mojo re-priced their top 5 markets individually and saw immediate gains. 🤑 Three-day free trials converted as well as seven-day trials. Shorter payback, same results. 🙈 Hiding the monthly plan behind a "view all plans" screen pushed yearly share from 60% to 80%.

Too many teams A/B test everything. That's a mistake. If you're not able to A/B test everything, you have to hold your product to a higher standard It makes you not accountable. You're more thoughtful and careful about what you release The exception: features that you think could have an impact on monetization.
