This house was actually the inspiration for “Our House” by Crosby Stills Nash and Young. Graham Nash wrote it for Joni when they were dating. The house is still standing and STILL owned by Joni Mitchell. Apparently she rents it out!

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster.
Around 9.15am on the 21 October 1966, Merthyr Vale Colliery tip collapsed and slid onto the village of Aberfan. 116 children and 28 adults were killed.
