An independent dev using AI is bad enough but a multi-million dollar company like Square is just awful. These companies don’t need to save money, they need to pay executives less and get rid of middle management.
I tried compiling screenshots of the things that look like Ai or Ai enhanced in this KH cover artwork. Really disappointing to see this from Square, I'd really love if there could be some kind of statement regarding this.

I know for a fact not everyone involved with the game is okay with this if it is gen AI and that sucks because it means they’re in a really awkward position with this coming out.
No one talking about this but Crystal Dynamics or FWH SEEMINGLY used gen AI for the Tomb Raider cover. (look at the straps)
Maybe missed some details when "replacing or refining" the AI like they said 😔.

This has been driving me mad all day because I know in X-Men Origins Wolverine Logan’s tops don’t regenerate. I’ve tripled checked and I know I’m right. I’m fine with a regenerating suit in the new game, but don’t gaslight fans of the classic games who know the facts.

To be crystal clear. In the Origins game, base game and level outfits have tops that don’t regenerate. There are alternates that do regenerate because they’re bonuses and made for fun. This video uses a bonus outfit and doesn’t mention the others.

I don’t get why people are freaking out about a cube friend on God of War when Infinity Nikki pulls long lost gods from the fabric of their dead realities and makes them into stewards who ferry her to and from her magic home in a realm build just for her. Just go along with it.

I stuck around and stayed loyal at Gamurs Group through every layoff and my reward was getting laid off 3 weeks before they knew my son was due to be born. Quitting on your own terms feels so much better.
This is essentially how I left EA. When we finished development on the first Alice game, I went traveling. While on vacation in India I got the news that EA had laid off my creative partner, RJ Berg. And that they'd pulled the console development contract from Alice developer, Rogue Entertainment (which killed the studio).
I was asked to come back so that I could begin my next phase of existence at EA - being put into some sort of VP training program. Onward and upward!
It was "We're firing all your buddies and promoting you."
So I quit. Left San Francisco entirely. Just said, "I'm done."
Many (MANY) of my friends at EA at that time called me to tell me I was "insane" "crazy" and demand I explain wtf I was doing. For a lot of them, explaining that I felt moving up the ladder on the backs of my fired friends was unacceptable, just made no sense. "That's how the game works." "Stick around and you'll be rewarded."
Well, the reward is that I am sitting here 25 years later not feeling like a jerk for taking the wrong path.

We didn’t get a code at Bonus Action either but I was always going to buy this game anyway because I adore what IOI is doing. Will get ours out as soon as I can too but I’ll always be the first to say play the games you love and take the leap of faith for a developer you know.

FWIW this fits the tone of Bond beautifully. There’s always some terrible tongue in cheek comedy amid the spy thrills and grit. Lame is just the sort of “funny the first time you see it” comedy that fits. If it was top tier comedy it wouldn’t work.

I hope I’m wrong but Lame recently signed an agreement meaning his likeness and performances could be generated by AI for commercial use. @IOInteractive I hope you’re better than that and this was real performance capture, even if not from Lame himself.
I couldn’t care less for this Khaby Lame cameo as I don’t find him funny to being with

The game over for getting caught was restricted to a few missions and made sense contextually and for the story. You don’t want to go loud and then have a jarring cutscene where Edward is stealthy. The rest of the time it was optional. I don’t get the hate.
