A UK/Jamaica film collab called “Duppy,” based on Jamaican folklore and set in 1998 Jamaica, has been selected for the Cannes Frontières Platform. Directed by UK-based Ajuán Isaac-George, it marks a rare horror film rooted in local Jamaican folklore. variety.com/2026/film/global…

Hello @biztradegovuk , you need to review @UberEats operation licences as their customer service is not functional. You cannot activate refund or carry out tasks according to their help notes. They are scamming customers. I’ll no longer use their service. Refund now @katedearden

If you asked Alice Drysdale Stewart, who achieved the milestone of 100 years on February 19, how she is feeling, her first utterance would cheerfully be, “I feel good as a 15-year-old!” Read more: jamaica-gleaner.com/article/…

Black Brits are NOT docile to racism. Google is free. Read about the following race riots: Notting Hill (1958). Bonfire Night (1975 &76) Brixton Riots (1981) UK streets burned for WEEKS! Handsworth (1985). You lot know nothing & love to speak with such authority. Infuriating
The Black Brits are docile to racism claim is b*llsh*t. Many of us do fight and challenge racism and we are heavily penalised for it financially, mentally, and eventually physically. That is a heavy toll. Not everyone can bear it.

BBC & BAFTAS set up Davidson by placing a mic where he was sitting. This was to exploit his tics & Davidson left the BAFTAS after he saw the impact of his slur on Lindo & Jordan. It’s as if the BBC/BAFTAS wanted sensationalism. Black people’s dignity sacrificed as usual
"Do you know what Caucacity is Piers Morgan? You have the caucacity to be disrespectful & dismissive to 3 Black Panelists on your show to center John Davidson because of his disability" Piers Morgan wasn't happy with me calling his bullshit out #BAFTA

On behalf of all South Africans, I extend my condolences to the Jackson family, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the many organisations within the American Civil Rights Movement and in causes elsewhere in the world who were inspired by the Rev Jesse Jackson’s principles and leadership. Rev Jesse Jackson’s irrepressible campaigns against apartheid and his support for the liberation struggle was a towering contribution to the global anti-apartheid cause. In 2013, the Rev Jesse Jackson was awarded South Africa’s National Order of the Companions of O.R. Tambo in Silver for dedicating his life to challenge societies and governments to recognise that all people are born equal, and that everyone is in equal measure entitled to life, liberty, prosperity and human rights. The award honoured his excellent contribution to the fight against apartheid. We are sad to bid farewell to a global moral authority who gave voice to struggles within the United States as well as struggles for fundamental human rights and democracy around the world, including our own. Mentored by the equally resolute and charismatic Dr Martin Luther King Jr, Jesse Jackson devoted himself to the cause of justice as a human endeavour without borders. In 2026, we reflect with deep appreciation and admiration on Jesse Jackson’s visit to Southern Africa 40 years ago this year to share his support for our liberation struggle with leaders and citizens in Nigeria, Angola, Botswana, the then Congo, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. From Selma in the American South to Soweto in 1979, where he visited following the death of Steve Biko, Jesse Jackson defied the architects of apartheid and executors of brutality to declare that all people are equal and that justice would ultimately triumph over injustice. His campaigns for an end to apartheid included disinvestment from the apartheid economy and challenging the support the regime enjoyed in certain circles and institutions internationally. We are deeply indebted to the energy, principled clarity and personal risk with which he supported our struggle and campaigned for freedom and equality in other parts of the world. I will treasure the opportunity I had to do the 33rd Gandhi Walk with Jesse Jackson in April 2018, where he shared with me his deep commitment to his continuing vision for a better world as well as his special relationship with South Africa. He has fought a good fight and run the race which his Baptist ministry inspired him to run. He made the world a better place but he has also influenced us to maintain his good fight in places where injustice and inequality persist. May his soul rest in peace.

In the 19th century children had to ‘work as prostitutes’ in brothels. Back then the adults believed they consented. This is you. Thinking that young girls & women consented to be exploited by powerful men.
Replying to @nogg_the @EdKrassen
I don't know if they "consented". I do believe they were adults. Are you able to comprehend the difference here?

Utterly vile this man is. Adult women are being trafficked as we speak. As well as young men. The sexual exploitation of children and adults of a range of ages is real. What looks like consenting prostitution sometimes IS ABUSE.
Replying to @EdKrassen
Threaten them into silence? Silence about what? These women, as best I can determine, were never part of a child trafficking ring and came into Epstein's orbit as consenting adults. Am I wrong?

Dragging Meghan into the Epstein files is vile. Teenage girls were trafficked, groomed, abused & exploited. Turning their trauma into gossip is not ‘debate’ - it’s cruelty. Centre the victims & the crimes, aren’t you disgusted by pedophilia? You evil cretin mocking the girls pain
Hey @grok what is the probability that the female on the left, with the blurred out face, is Meghan Markle?

That’s you. You can’t afford broadband. You’ve topped up the cellphone that ‘dropped off the back of an Amazon delivery van’. You can check someone’s location easily if you were educated enough to do so. Dunce.
What is too idle? .. I apologize that where you’re located you can only access the internet via one spot. However I have the luxury to use this wherever I go here in America (at work rn). Also where is the dumbness going on ? Outside of the brainrot from being brainwashed
