ALT Expanding Access to Quality Health Care. In 2025, HRSA expanded access to care and strengthened national health outcomes. Health Centers: HRSA-supported health centers served 32.4 million patients, including 1.1 million new patients--the largest increase in 3 years. Maternal Health: The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline received more than 30,000 calls and texts, with a record 3,800 calls/texts in August. Organ Donation: HRSA supported nearly 48,600 solid organ transplants--the highest number ever recorded--and facilitated ongoing modernization of the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network. HIV Care and Outcomes: Through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, nearly 602,000 people received care. Patients achieved a 91.4% viral suppression rate--well above national benchmarks. ALT Growing and Supporting the Health Workforce. In 2025, HRSA programs helped grow the health workforce and connect health care professionals to communities in need. Health Workforce: HRSA workforce programs supported more than 5,540 trainees and added over 3,500 graduates with nearly 22,570 clinicians serving in underserved communities worldwide. Rural Health: HRSA created 60 new accredited rural residency programs since 2019 to strengthen long-term rural workforce capacity. Behavioral Health: HRSA expanded behavioral health and substance use response services, including adding 425 new behavioral health providers in rural areas and distributing naloxone at about 95% of Rural Communities Opioid Response Program sites.
