What first took me to the Gold Dome was testifying for foster kids. When I finished, a state senator told me he’d been down there for 17 years and had never once heard the words “foster care.”
That hit me hard. Because it proved what many of us already know — if you don’t have money, power, or a lobbyist, your voice doesn’t get heard.
That’s when I made a commitment: I would fight for the people who don’t have access, who don’t have a checkbook big enough to buy influence.
I’m running for governor to take that fight statewide and for all of you.

No administration has done more to support foster children than President Trump’s, and I’m grateful for that. I’m also thankful that Governor Kemp announced foster children will automatically be enrolled in Trump Accounts.
When I’m governor, I’ll work to ensure Georgia matches the contribution foster children receive through First Lady Melania’s Trump Fostering the Future Accounts initiative.
An anonymous donor gave me $100 one Christmas when I was in a children’s home. It changed my life, and I know this initiative will change the lives of countless foster children.

WHY I SUPPORT RICK JACKSON FOR GOVERNOR
Former State Senator Eric Johnson
I have been engaged in Republican politics for almost 50 years including 17 years in the legislature in both the minority and majority. I have recruited and managed dozens of candidates at the state and local level. I was one of the architects that flipped Georgia from blue to red in 2002 and I don’t want it to become blue again.
The truth is that our state is shifting from red to purple. Trump’s margins in 2020 and 2024 were very narrow. We now have two liberal US Senators and just lost 2 statewide PSC races. Democrats are motivated and Republicans are complacent. My concerns drew me back into politics and into the Rick Jackson campaign.
Like Reagan, Rick is likable and approachable with an unshakable conservative ideology. Like J.D. Vance, his rags to riches story appeals to the underdogs and reinforces what makes America great. Rick’s wealth is well known now. That allows him to implement reforms and make tough decisions based on right and wrong and not based on contributions and lobbyists. And he is disrupting the status quo and pulling people into the political process who had given up because the politicians didn’t care about them.
Finally, Rick Jackson is an active church-going Christian that has put his money to good use advancing the kingdom – literally hundreds of millions of dollars – anonymously! He believes, correctly, that it is God’s money and he is only a steward of his blessings. His causes include crisis pregnancy, pro-life and foster care charities and he created a program that provides free college tuition for kids coming out of foster homes.
Jon Ossoff is at the top of the ballot in November and will be extremely tough to beat. We need Rick to shore up the ticket and help our nominee for US Senate and the down ballot Republicans. We need a disrupter to unite the grassroots and independents. We need a generous, inspirational nominee who lives his faith and that voters can trust. Please join me and thousands of Georgians who have rallied to his campaign.

No one will support law enforcement more than me. We’ll enforce the law, lock criminals up, and make sure law enforcement officers have the resources they need to deal with the mental health crisis in our jails.
