This is awful. The last ever Denby Pottery going to the kiln. Why is there not uproar? Where’s the government in this?? We all have Denby in our homes, in family heirlooms, as our history and now it’s closing through lack of support, such a sad sad day. #SaveDenby @denbypottery

200 years of skill and culture in our heartlands is now gone because of weak politicians who have rubbished our society over 40 years disrespected our society & our culture added high energy prices & cheap inferior foreign imports and industries. None of this progressive.

‘Kindness’ versus the truth. Fantastic speech.
"No, I don't subscribe to this 'kindness' - I'll tell the truth instead." I spoke at the Cambridge Union last night about LGBs, children's safety and women's rights. Full video here:

My piece for @spikedonline on what happened when Scope dropped my choir from singing at the London Marathon yesterday . Along with why - even after the invitation was restored -(with support from the @SpeechUnion ) I chose to sing elsewhere with a hastily assembled group. There’s been a lot said about this online. This is the more personal - and painful - story behind it. And why it matters. Link to read below 👇

The reality of EDI: Keep quiet about trans ideology -accept men in women’s spaces, accept the mistreatment of gender confused kids- or face second class treatment. Charities taking this stance are damaging the sector and the concept of charity itself.
So instead of taking a beat to consider whether their actions were lawful and proportionate, Scope have chosen to issue a public statement about me on their website. Which feels as though they are doubling down - and singling me out further. Suffice to say, I have taken legal advice and am well supported on that front. It’s worth noting that they appear to be leaning on the “Bananarama argument” - i.e. it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it - implying that the issue is the way I have expressed my lawfully held gender critical views. Those who follow me online will know that I am generally very measured in the way I express my views. However, even if I weren’t, reality is reality. Which means there is no “nice” way to say that a man who claims to be female is a man - and therefore shouldn't be in women's spaces and sports. Other than simply saying it. So the problem is not how you say it - it’s the fact you’re saying it at all.

Corporate cancel culture still going strong. Solidarity with @jo_bartosch & @robjess
So having been compared to a holocaust denier by a local cllr (who was once a friend) Stroud Brewery and Taproom have cancelled the event organised by GlosWomen. @robjessel16 & I will be taking advice.

Busting the disaterous myth peddled by the trans activists.
Finland tracked every gender-referred adolescent in the country for up to 25 years. Their psychiatric needs didn't improve after 'gender reassignment'. They surged. A landmark peer-reviewed study just dropped. Here's what it found. 🧵

1/ Dr Natacha Kennedy, a lecturer at Goldsmiths, has been celebrating the death of Jenni Murray, the highly-respected former presenter of BBC Woman's Hour. Kennedy wishes for Jenni Murray's grave to be treated as a 'gender-neutral bathroom'. Kennedy is an important figure in academic trans activism in the UK.
