Austin’s Victim Assistance Center extended through tomorrow (Thursday)
If you are seeking in-person services at the Victim Assistance Center, we will be open Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. We also are here for you today until 8 p.m.

The City of Austin will mobilize a Victim Assistance Center for those impacted by the incident on W. 6th Street Sunday morning. Crisis counseling, returning of personal effects and other services available Tuesday & Wednesday from 10am-8pm.

Twas an excellent opportunity to order a large regular at Dunkin, literally 'pahk the cah at Hahvahd Yahd' and come away with some wicked smart strategies on keeping communities safer when temperatures rise. ☀️☀️
🌡️Extreme heat is a silent killer—the deadliest climate threat in the U.S. At #HarvardClimateActionWeek, city leaders, public health experts, and Center faculty affiliate & crisis management expert @JulietteKayyem came together for a Heat Simulation workshop at @harvard_data to test responses and share strategies for protecting residents.
