Character needs to be binned ASAP
Why was Josh acting like he’d just been told the world was ending? The whimpering went on for ages😭. I’m cackling, what’s going on anymore #EastEnders

Everyone moaning about the character design and I don't see an issue with it all
It’s happening... it’s really happening! Experience Shrek 5 only in theaters summer 2027.

I remember discovering Chad was a country during the 2012 Olympics. Tbf to the Americans there are a lot of countries
Americans don't know that it's actually completely insane to not have even HEARD of another country before

With Guillermo del Toro’s recommendation, I started watching Apple TV ‘s “Widow’s Bay.” It’s so incredibly good that I couldn’t stop, so I binged through Episode 9 in one go. This horror-comedy, executive produced by Hiro Murai, is set in a cursed island town 40 miles off the coast of New England. Dense fog, violent storms, and all kinds of supernatural phenomena descend upon the town. It’s packed with horror elements, one after another. Fans of Stephen King and horror in general will love it. The pacing is excellent, and the balance between horror and humor is just right. Ironically, the mayor’s tireless efforts to attract tourists reminded me of Mayor Vaughn from “Jaws.” The townspeople are wonderfully eccentric as well, with personalities straight out of “Twin Peaks.” It’s been a long time since a series pulled me in this completely. I can’t wait for next Wednesday’s final episode.

This isn't a new thing nor is it a bad thing
It's the World Cup and @itvfootball always cutting to ads right before KO. Shameless broadcasters

Bad time to be a UK football fan who also happens to hate the song Life is a Highway

For the first time in over 60 years, neither Doctor Who nor Star Trek are in production. Now what? nerdist.com/article/doctor-w…

One of the best shows I've watched in a very long time
#WidowsBay has been RENEWED for Season 2 by #AppleTV

Showing my nerd levels here... but much like Sliders where the creative team deliberately ended season 5 on a cliffhanger to give the network no choice but to renew it, only they didn't and now it all ends without any resolution to the only character people still cared about
you can assume that rtd/bad wolf knew their time with doctor who could come to an end considering the reshoots for the finale so it continues to baffle me that instead of wrapping the show up as neatly as possible for whoever comes next they went for the exact opposite approach

Genuinely torn between watching The World Cup on ITV at 6pm or Norfolk and Suffolk: Country & Coast over on Channel 5.

Mail writer here which means they, or at the very least the publication he works for, would be tearing the BBC to shreds if they had done an ITV here for blowing licence fee payers money. They'll never be happy.
The ITV World Cup set is incredible, stunning view of the Manhattan skyline. Puts the BBC to shame. Cost-saving arguments are understandable, but the World Cup is the pinnacle of football - the location of the primary public service broadcaster should showcase that.

Weird coincidence but the last time we entered Doctor Who wilderness years I was 5 years old. Now it's happened for the second time while my son is now 5 years old.
