Straight out of the old advertising messaging strategy: "the more you spend, the more you save!" landroverhuntvalley.com/busi… Don't ask if you need a vehicle over 6,000 lbs. Just buy it because you'll get a tax break. Amazing.

@Boenau Google “range rover tax break” and check out the law that supports it. There’s a policy reason why there are more of these 6k lb vehicles around. Dothemath!

We’ve reached peak self-delusion when the construction of massive highways is trumpeted as a fuel- and climate-saving act. No highway expansion has ever done anything but the opposite.

Construction of I95 in Miami required the forcible relocation of over 12,000 residents—nearly 100% of them black. Using eminent domain, the gov't seized buildings across the heart of Miami's black community in Overtown, offering owners well below market rate—and renters nothing.

Transpo Dept: - We designed this at 10mph above the speed limit. - Everybody's driving 10mph above the speed limit. - We recommend raising the speed limit. - We now recommend re-designing the road to be 10mph above the new speed limit.

It is unconscionable that a city of 900,000 people has a downtown that's essentially a parking lot. (Columbus, OH)
