It is day 4 of 10 for our tribute to the class of β26! Todayβs feature isβ¦
βJRoβ
Johnathan Robinson #23
A special blend of baseball feel, upper end baseball IQ, heart, top 1% work ethic, desire, passion, care and love for the game of baseball! Refusal to not be 100% prepared for the season. Made a defensive position change during his high school career. Showed intensity in all areas of the game and wanted to succeed at the highest level possible!
As you will see below, JRo lead all hitters in the 2026 WCAC season with the highest batting average! He was selected to the 1st team all conference, and batted almost exclusively in the 5 spot this season. The most determined hitter in our lineup day in and day out. Deep thinker in his approach to the game he loves.
In the classroom JRo has been ultra successful as well, dedicating himself to be the best student he can be and taking full advantage of all that GC has to offer! A good example to his peers in that regard. In the community he has been a real go getter in the team events we have done over his career!
JRo accepted hard/tough coaching and did anything he could in any area to get better for himself and team! He was respected by his teammates and coaches for his unique approach and we feel blessed to have been with him for the last 2 years!

JRo, your journey is one that you should share with immense pride. You had to overcame many trials and moments to get to where you are right now. Your work ethic helped, your family and your support base also was huge. The GC community helped you and you it. The things that occurred during your time here did and will shape you into who you want to become and WILL become. Your success will not be questioned the only question is how much will you have. What a blessing to have this be a road you went down! Always be who you are, and in those special moments that you know are bigger then others just breathe or take a βpower breathβ
Excellent job all around!
We are glad you found GC!
