A fantastic milestone for @LU_CFR supporting @EMAS_CFR. Glad to have been able to respond to 365 allocations with the scheme over the last few years, including allocations 1 and 1000!
1000 allocations! As a scheme we've responded to over 1000 calls from @emasnhstrust 🚑 this is a huge achievement for us, especially as our volunteers are full time staff and students at @uniofleicester and @dmuleicester

Regular, realistic training scenarios are essential to keeping our @EMAS_CFR volunteers ready to respond. We've therefore invested in a dedicated training kit, including monitoring kit and a mock oxygen cylinder.
Thanks also to @uniofleicester for offering a training room.
We know that regular training is essential to maintain skills and ensure patient safety. That's why we've dedicated our old rucksack for training, using a standardised layout and replica oxygen cylinder for realistic scenarios.
