Ok, so I jumped on the #hothoney trend. We finished our #soup and still had a bit of #homemade whole wheat #bread to enjoy, so I thought "why not?"...I'm here to tell you it is so #delicious and so #easy to make at home and damn would it be #amazing on fried chicken!

While not exactly bento, I do love the idea of creating scenes with food, as it combines two of my favorite things: crafts and food; this scene included fairy tales -- yet a third interest.
Clearly hand carved, but done with love. Someday I'll be making bento scenes, but for now I'm content to carve cheese even for home plates.
The 4yo's verdict: I DON'T EAT CHEESE! Removed it and all was well
