I was listening to Gil Scott-Heron on the flight to Cali to visit a friend. Stopped to grab some food on the way and parked across from this mural. I think the universe is trying to tell me something.

PSA for Parents: Always monitor your kids playing with lilly pads. My 5 year old was playing on ours and got trapped when she swam under it, became disoriented, and couldn’t get out from under it. Thankfully, I was watching and was able to jump in to pull it off her (she’s ok).

Nerd alert: I LOVE combing through the @CSWA_HoD 's archives. @NASW 's 1st Code of Ethics was published in 1960 but I found a well developed draft CoE by the L.A. chapter of the American Association of Social Workers circa 1930. #SWArchiveAdventures #socialworkhistory
