Advancing Kenya’s health system relies on innovative solutions and strong partnerships that ensure access to affordable medicines, reliable diagnostics, and preventive tools—essential in the fight against HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and other public health challenges.
Today, we held a consultative meeting with a delegation from the French Parliament and UNITAID, where discussions explored new ways to reinforce universal health coverage, improve primary healthcare delivery, and scale up life-saving interventions.
The engagement highlighted how collaboration accelerates progress and builds a resilient health system capable of meeting current and future challenges.
The French Parliamentary delegation was led by Hon. Guillaume Gouffier Valente, MP Val-de-Marne, and the meeting was also attended by Mr. Mathew Black, UNITAID’s Kenya Engagement Manager, and Ms. Marina Hue, Governance and Board Relations Manager.
