Almost 70% of those who have died in the war in Gaza were women and children, according to the UN's Human Rights Office.
The agency said the analysis is from nearly 10,000 verified victims over a six-month period.
The fallout from the war between Israel's military and Hamas militants has been called a 'systematic violation' of international humanitarian law by the UN.

A strike hit a hospital courtyard, burning the tents where people were sleeping. Just before this, an @UNRWA school sheltering families was hit in Nuseirat.
That same school was going to be used as a #polio vaccination site today.

Last #KrisKristofferson memory for today. Howie Epstein of The Heartbreakers & I were standing on the side of the stage at the Dylan 40th Tribute, along with Kris, when Sinead left the stage. We were in shock and did nothing. Kris immediately offered her kindness & comfort.
