We were delighted to attend the inaugural Irish Society of Exercise and Sports Science (ISESA) 2025 Conference recently at South East Technological University (SETU) in Waterford, where top researchers, practitioners, and athletes came together to explore the theme of bridging research with real-world impact in sports and exercise science. Professor Kate Pumpa presented, and three SPHPSS postgraduate and one undergraduate students (Eline De Jager, Annmarie Carroll, Ryan Stewart and Cathal O'Hanlon) presented their research posters at the event.
