Hmmm - new report signed by Bayer, Mars, McCain Foods, McDonald’s, Mondelez, Olam, PepsiCo, Waitrose and others.
Well if these companies changed buying practices, extractive business model, dumped their junk food marketing, etc we might get somewhere..

The Environmental Land Management scheme, and especially its Local Nature and Landscape Recovery pillars, are the best hope we have of reversing the collapse of nature in this country. I cannot believe the government is seriously considering canning 5 years of hard work on this.

- LNR & LR (the ambitious nature recovery bits) for the chop
- minister refusing to rule out area based payments
- talk of payment for nothing (annual up to £10k) for small farmers to support growth
