maven.com/parlance-labs/eval… It offers hands-on exercises, expert guidance, and practical frameworks, giving you a systematic approach you can apply immediately. I have engineering background, but most do not and could follow along. I love how motivated they are, and they inspire me

I recently learned this term in machine learning called curriculum learning. While not a perfect parallel, both curriculum learning and waitzkin progress from simplest to most complex
Chess prodigy Josh Waitzkin learned chess in a very elegant way. He first trained to win the simplest endgames, then more complex endgames, then simple midgames, etc. By the time he learned openings he knew exactly what they aimed to achieve. What else can be learned similarly?

. @amasad I am trying to be a customer to replit and pay for the services. But, I'm having a horrible time trying to solve the payment issues. I have tried with your customer support. It's a Kafka-esque nightmare with them and Stripe putting me in a Catch 22 situation. Can help?

If there’s such a thing as hedonic adaptation, is there such a thing as meaning adaptation? Maybe the rate of adaptation is not as fast but still can happen right?

I wonder if this heuristic works outside of science as well 🤔
Working on a currently hot scientific problem is probably a waste of resources, and also a recipe for personal career mediocrity. Finding a neglected but significant problem is better both ways—if you have an unusual advantage for solving it. twitter.com/michael_nielsen/…

One advantage of stashing all my tabs is that my battery life seems to have improved Laptop doesn’t heat up as much I use Edge which will auto sleep unused tabs but having no tabs still beats sleeping tabs in terms of energy and heat efficiency
Replying to @nkazhin
I found an extension yesterday to help me stash all the tabs one shot x.com/KimStacks/status/16734…

“Change your positioning to better target 🎯 the customers your product is already best for” Is akin to "Change the game you’re playing to one you’re already great at” at the individual life level"

You could change the product to appeal to different (more?) customers. Or you could change your marketing / sales / positioning to better target the customers your product is already best for. The latter is often more profitable, and fun.

This and the resulting comments thread are all my thoughts
Why do executives want employees back to the office? One reason: I've heard of some employees working part-time (but paid full time salary), or even working on side hustle startups, while on a full-time salary.

2023-06-17 Saturday < 440 One pattern I've noticed is that between each prune session, the tabs will grow naturally by another 10-20, so in effect, each session I have to remove by about 20-30 Oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most people focus on the chatGPT part But the part where I can quickly record myself demo in 3 mins and then show my friend is also very noteworthy in my opinion
Friend whatsapp me how to rewrite an existing excel formula to add more params I record on loom how I would use the free chatGPT if I were her, using her exact wording Then I send her the loom This is the future of work & peer learning for adults, folks
