Hi everyone, Kayla Pollock - the Canadian woman who was rendered a quadriplegic after her Moderna booster, has a service dog that needs life-saving surgery (removal of a malignant tumor in her mouth from what I understand). The surgery is a modest $3,000 (give or take). I set up a GiveSendGo for her and her dog. If you can help, please do. If you are not able to support financially, please share the link. Godspeed and God bless. givesendgo.com/storm-the-ser…

Pitch the next Godzilla movie without telling me you're pitching the next Godzilla movie.
A tiny island nearly 1,250 miles from Tokyo could soon play a huge role in Japan’s energy future. Officials are considering Minamitorishima, an extremely remote island in the Pacific Ocean, as a possible burial site for nuclear waste. The island is only about 0.6 miles wide, completely uninhabited, and surrounded by a coral atoll, making it one of the most isolated places under Japanese control. Scientists believe its untouched geology could potentially store radioactive waste safely for thousands of years. As countries expand nuclear power to cut carbon emissions, finding safe long-term storage for radioactive waste has become one of the biggest challenges in the energy world. The idea is still in the early stages, and researchers will need to conduct extensive geological and environmental studies first. If approved, this tiny island could become the final resting place for some of Japan’s most dangerous material.

Pray then like this: β€œOur Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” β€”Matthew 6:9-13

According to the Bible, you will die in your sins and spend an eternity in hell unless you repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Please consider the cross and what Jesus Christ has done for us. God is merciful to anyone who calls upon His name.

I heard a radio commercial that used a quote from "Silent Night" - referring to meat as "tender and mild" (like the song says baby Jesus was). Probably the worst lyric reference ever. Now think about all the times people quote the Bible out of context...

I sometimes wonder if authors who talk about making characters more real with deep backstories realize that most people don't have deep backstories. They have lives that are often rather quiet, and that doesn't make them less interesting. Your task, as an artist, is to understand that people are intrinsically interesting. If you want to write compelling characters, start with the premise that all people are interesting, and go from there.

On her birthday, remembering Persis Khambatta, who played Ilia in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (Her very first production in the U.S. was the 1977 TV movie "The Man with the Power," which co-starred John de Lancie and Roger Perry.) #StarTrek
