My lab at @Stanford is looking to hire postdocs for multiple projects on cancer biology and therapeutics. Our recent work has uncovered some truly remarkable mechanisms for cytotoxic small molecules and we're looking to build on this research. If interested, see below:

Congratulations to Wang’s lab @LabTaia, and Bowie @Bowie0625 on this elegant and impactful work, showing that antibody efficacy is not just about affinity, but also the durability of IgG-FcyR interactions under physiological forces. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

RFK Jr. has no medical or scientific credentials and wants to gut the National Institutes of Health. And Marjorie Taylor Greene today cheered him on in our committee. This is outrageous and shameful.

Thanks for highlighting our work @LabWaggoner! ✨
Sialylated IgG induces expression of REST in alveolar macrophages via CD209, where REST dampens the responsiveness of macrophages to multiple NFκB stimuli and controls the inflammatory lung response to influenza viruses @ImmunityCP @LabTaia cell.com/immunity/fulltext/S…

#CARTcells for #DIPG #DMG clinical trial (1st arm) results are out today. Full Tweetorial coming, but first want to share the story of a patient whose #DIPG has disappeared for over 3 years. It is a milestone and moment of hope on a journey filled with so much grief. “There’s a lot of loss that led to this research,” Drew’s dad said. “I hope those families know that this success is because of them.” med.stanford.edu/news/all-ne…

Sialylated IgG Fc domains induce a transcription factor called REST, which blocks transcription of NF-κB. In the lungs of mice, this activity protected against influenza virus-induced inflammation and preserved lung function during infection.
