Senate bill SB-045 PASSES committee with a vote of 7-0! Senator @LarryListon10's hard work on the Nuclear Workforce Development & Education Program now heads to the Committee on Appropriations. "I am very gratified with the unanimous vote out of the Senate Education Committee. Their recognition that having an educated and trained nuclear workforce will be beneficial to Colorado's citizens and industry going well into the 21st century. I am very pleased at the strong support shown by Xcel Energy, Colorado Springs Utilities, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Colorado Pipefitters 208, Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, Platte River Power Authority, and last but not least the Colorado Nuclear Alliance."

SB-120, the Nuclear Workforce Development & Education Program, is a Republican-led bipartisan bill that will support nuclear energy production in Colorado by providing education and workforce development opportunities for innovative, nuclear energy.
