Last month, Gabby Petito was found dead in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Her case received immense media coverage. That sparked conversations throughout Indian Country regarding missing and murdered Indigenous women's cases and their comparative lack of coverage.

Shoutout to a journal editor proactively heading off reviewer comments that focus on the English instead of the scientific content!

On social media, conversations on covid and economic recovery are crowding out climate and nature and the two are rarely mentioned together despite their many linkages. New @nature_org and @Onalytica study: nature.org/en-us/newsroom/so…

Uhh... no wonder we have a lot of unused doses in Wyoming 👀😱
A shrinking percentage of Americans are expressing reluctance to get a Covid-19 vaccine: 17%, down from 22% in January. Vaccine hesitancy is declining in most states. wsj.com/articles/as-covid-19…

And by unused, I mean lots of people have been able to get appointments off extra-doses waiting lists. No idea if doses are actually going to waste (I certainly hope not!)

For folks looking for a vaccine appt - vaccinespotter.org/ scans pharmacies and shows available times all in one place. Way easier than checking lots of individual sites. My mom is scheduled for Saturday 😀😀

Paper rejected with a single rude and unprofessional review. Includes a rant about non-reproducible methods - which could be easily addressed by providing more details about the study sites. Why do people review like this? I'm fine but it can hit people hard, esp students.
