Meet my daughter Maya. She is 10. She is a builder - in the making, but well on her way. She spoke to @Joewearofficial on @foundersbuilder about getting started and discovering the joy of building. In our house we play with Legos and paints as much as we build our own games and projects with @Lovable and Codex. Just building things truly is for everyone with an idea and just a little bit of time. I see a future of empowerment and I got to talk about the evolution of founders we see at @OpenAI. Also thank you @antonosika who Maya met at 9, for giving her the gift of a delightful start and encouraging her so much to keep building and @dorapalfi and @imagilabs the basis of how I ran some of our Girlship Club play dates.

Claude $200 = $8,000 OpenAI $200 = $14,000 I like that exchange rate (while it lasts)

Recently, we purchased one of each Anthropic/OpenAI subscription plan and randomly ran long horizon coding tasks until we exhausted the weekly limit. It's widely believed that a $200/month plan maxes out at ~$2000/month worth of tokens (assuming API pricing). However, we found that the subscriptions are actually far more generous. (2/4)

Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.

our OpenAI traffic 3x'd. the cause: ChatGPT added branded links inside answers instead of burying them in citations.¹ but that's the small story. Codex went from 600k to 5m weekly users.² agents are choosing the stack now.

GTM to me means deeply caring for what matters to your users, customers, audience - in my case founders - and obsessing over delivering value to them, however they define it. Over and over again. Fight for them, delight them, and build for them. What they ask for and what they don't even know they need yet. Be a friend. I live my work so I could not be more proud to receive a GTM10 Award for Partnerships by @lightspeedvp and @cello_hq, to keep being an advocate for founders everywhere to build with @OpenAI and to see my face on the Nasdaq tower (what?!) in Times Square.

Im sure your [coffeeshop/couch/bed/home office] on Sunday was efficient but did it have your favourite people to hang and build with?

OpenAI Robotics is hiring, looking for exceptional full-stack hardware, ops, systems, and ML engineers to help us program and manufacture robots that are useful for society. AI should be able to help people in the physical world. In the short term, we are focused on robots to support skilled workers to build our future infrastructure; in the long term, we imagine everyone having a personal robot doing anything they need. Our world simulation research program, led by Aditya Ramesh, has evolved over the past year into OpenAI Robotics. Progress is rapid, and based on a foundation of co-design between robotics hardware and ML research. If you love working hands-on across the robotics stack and want to build the future, please consider joining us. Send an email with your background and evidence of exceptional accomplishment to: robotics-recruiting@openai.com

100% this Recognise that building has changed and how and make the most of it
My advice to founders in 2026: spend tokens, not headcount. Record everything. Make your company queryable. Build self-improving loops. Before long, AI won’t just help you operate your company. It will make it self improving. Don't think AI adoption, think AI transformation. This is the biggest shift in how startups get built since cloud computing.

Today I talked about Codex, @Lovable, starting building early and how products improve as the models do with my daughter on Founders and Builders podcast. I love getting by a front row seat to what discovering tech for the first time looks like everyday.
