The Trump administration needs to deploy the National Guard to the ICE facility in Portland asap. A perimeter around the area needs to be established, with check points, curfews, and all. Antifa has become emboldened, knowing that Portland Police will not respond following a judge’s recent ruling, deciding that they do not have to enforce laws at the 24-hour ICE occupation, which has been going on for more than 75 days. I briefly walked by the ICE facility to see if the illegal encampment had been swept and was immediately approached by this black clad Antifa TERRORIST, who threatened to kick my ass on federal property (I was on the phone at the time so didn’t record the threat.) As I made my escape, she yelled, “People like you shouldn’t ever feel safe.” It’s imperative for truthful journalists to report on the occupation because local/legacy media does not report the truth about what has been happening at ICE, particularly violence against local residents and federal police officers. I’ve been out here for over 2 months and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to report without being harassed, threatened, and assaulted — So this is a call for all journalists who work for independent news outlets to make their way to the Portland ICE facility and help out.
