Binging old shows I never watched first go round. This time it's #ghostwhisperer. Am I REALLY going to watch 5 seasons, 22 episodes per, of a show that makes me absolutely bawl my eyes out every single time?

Woodbridge VA. I managed one good shot at 1:55 am, and then the clouds rolled in, of course 🙄 It's 2:47 and the moon hasn't reappeared, which is quite unsettling. Stupid clouds!

Thank goodness for small wins. Three of my shows have returned from winter break, so for a few hours I can drown myself in television and ignore the pain in my heart and the fear I'm feeling for this country. #SchoolSpirits #Elsbeth #NCIS

Working from home today-- asynchronous day with the kids just checking in to Zoom. I have to say, this is the thing I actually miss about when we were teaching via Zoom, having my purring cats next to me. Also I can go to the bathroom whenever I want!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned I was chosen to be featured in a newsletter for VA Ed Strategies, who provides $$ for teachers to attend their choice of professional development. I was chosen because of my professional learning goal I turned in. Here's the write-up!

You've been gone 2 years. Now my phone doesn't ring/no random texts checking in. No more "hey wanna catch a Nats game?" or "Did you hear about ___ player...?" No more chats about storms (interest we shared). When I need help, I have to ask a neighbor. I miss you, Mitch. RIP.
