Loved it. Light Perpetually is totally different but equally engrossing
Can’t imagine why it’s taken me so long to read this whizzbang of a novel - massively enjoyable and utterly virtuoso (jealousy, probably 😩😂).

very Kind of you.

@LotteryLarry Happy New Year Christopher! Just saw your episode of EastEnders from Good Friday 1998 - Kathy leaving on the plane with a bit of Edge Of Darkness-style rock music incorporated into the theme at the end! Hopefully visiting the set later this year! Can’t wait! James.

have recently become a grandfather. The moment that she is able to hold a book, I am going to be buying her all of yours.
Yesterday I was feeling really down bc I'd stumbled across photos of a recent cosy gathering of 40 (!) children's poets held at The Poetry Society. Many of whom were ppl I'd known for 15/20 yrs & some were newcomers I'd supported in my glory days. No-one thought to invite me.

Easier to define autocracy.
What’s your definition of “democracy?”

When your current gender madness is over I’ll be first in the queue. Not holding my breath though
This is the time to join @TheGreenParty - we are on the move, and we are the movement for a green & fair future.

Jane Russell KC has just asked Bumba to look at the policies of several English NHS Trusts and other Scottish health boards which also advised that trans staff could use facilities based on their gender identity. "Everyone else was doing it" seems to be the defence...?

Cf Amy Winehouse at Aintree in 2007. A massively frustrating experience.
20,000 people went to see ELO last night. A fan I know drove 100 miles (and back) to #Manchester @CoopLive arena, took his seat- along with all the other fans only to be told just 15 minutes before the start-time that the show was cancelled. People were shocked, dumbstruck, and ,without any explanation, baffled and upset. I've never known anything like that. He's wasted hours of his time and money on fuel, parking etc and a high-end pricey T-shirt off the band's merch stall. How come ELO and the venue let the fans get that far, making money on merch and the bars before pulling the plug that late? I trust fans will get their money back immediately from @TicketmasterUK and perhaps we could have an explanation from ELO and the venue

I have a court date: May 27 My case centres on the disgraceful way @TheGreenParty punishes members who challenge the trans mantra. The core of politics is debate over disagreement, but this is forbidden in a Party dominated by the dogma of #believemenindresses.

These have arrived! - the finished, hardback copies of a little book I've written about the joyfully unpredictable experience of producing Father Ted. Publication is Feb 20th but I'd like to give away two copies early - RT by Saturday 6pm and my dog Watson will pick the winners.

1989: a 23 year-old Green Party activist is interviewed by Gay Times as a founder of the party's newly-formed LGB group. Little did he realise that the group he helped form would one day become a mini-gestapo hellbent on hounding out anyone who opposed chemically castrating kids.

I have known so many people whose lives have been blighted by anxiety (including my own). This is the way out. It really does work.

The guy who helped millions heal their chronic anxiety and depression: Michael singer. I read his book “The Untethered Soul” at the peak of my anxiety 5 years ago. Here are the 4 core lessons from it that I took into my life that helped me heal my anxiety(with no trace):

Yesterday, #WestYorkshire Sight Loss Council members visited @JSSimpsonMedia to review new 3D tactile objects to #MakeArtAccessible.   After selecting historically significant items, members partnered with @UniversityLeeds to 3D print them. These objects will be available to #Blind & #PartiallySighted visitors, providing tactile access to items that are usually behind glass. 🤲🔍  Exciting things ahead – stay tuned! 🎉  #3DPrinting #TactileArt #LeedsCityMuseum

There is not a single morally justifiable reason for holding onto either Gibraltar or the Falklands apart from nostalgia for our ghastly imperial past. Oh and of course, keeping the daily mail off the labour Party’s back.
This is absurd. I feel like the Tory leadership contenders are taking it in turns to underestimate their membership and the voters through this disingenuous performative misunderstanding of events.
