This is shocking to me. Players unions supporting legislation that would diminish athletes’ rights and cap their earning power. I note neither the MLBPA nor NHLPA joined. Really bad look for the NFLPA and NBPA.
The NFLPA and NBAPA sent a letter to lawmakers today supportive of the Protect College Sports Act. The NFL also released a statement in support of the Act.

It would be nice if @GovGoneWild would post what this waste is. What areas exactly are being over spent on and what funding mechanism funded it?
Was it a grant, special use tax, user fees, partnership, ARPA, property tax, state mandate, etc…. Wasteful is in the eye of the beholder and Palm Beach residents may have voted for these programs.

Over $200 million recurring reduction for #ManateeCounty. After funding the Sheriff’s budget and contractual debt service, we have less than $200 million left in total NOW. There’s no “tightening the belt” to make this work. That’s just math.
