Many so called “leaders” have never shot a single shot their entire life’s. And what’s equally important: they have never been shot at. They hardly had to handle a law suit, a company in distress or the press or the government coming after them. They are soft. They are weak. They aren’t used to stress, they aren’t used to consequences. They don’t know what fighting, loosing and winning mean. Contrast that to a leader who has taken on the entire establishment and won. The fools won’t stand a chance. #power #fight #streetsmart #tough #leaders

And a big beast came out of the sea.
They are putting DATA CENTERS in the ocean now. Panthalassa, a startup from Portland, just raised $140 MILLION. what they do: build floating platforms that sit out at sea and run AI. no power grid needed. the ocean waves make all the electricity. the seawater keeps the chips cool. How it works: big floating balls bob up and down with the waves. that motion makes power. the power runs the AI chips inside. backed by PETER THIEL. company now worth almost $1 BILLION. land is running out of room and power for AI. so the next move is simple. go to the sea.

“I have always been of the opinion that unpopularity earned by doing what is right is not unpopularity at all, but glory.” — Marcus Tullius Cicero, Consul Rei Publicae Romanae

The British Isles are beginning to remember what every civilization eventually remembers: A government that cannot protect its people eventually loses the moral authority to govern them. Everything that follows is just the timetable.

you read Machiavelli and books like that to spot tricks when they're against you, not to practice them. Only incompetent, stupid people rely on such tactics. They may give a small, cheap satisfaction, but they fail with wise people. Wise people see through cunning instantly and are gone the moment they do. Competent people hate cunning as soon as they detect it. You can only fool fools, and fools are good for nothing but wasting time and feeding your ego. Wise people are immune to them, and so you're actually getting nothing out of tricks except seducing stupid useless people. Don't take such power tactics too seriously. They are children's playbook for adults.

I love that we’re the new Rome. Peace with Persia in the afternoon and a gladiator fight in the evening, all on the Emperor’s birthday. Another 1,000 years.

Was es BEWEIST: 1.

People are unlikely to respect a leader if they believe the leader’s judgment is inferior to their own. In many fields, the ability to solve harder problems is one of the strongest signals of superior judgment.

My grandfather, a politician, never failed an election. He had a way of talking to pple as if they had been friends for a long time. I learned from him to do that systematically, particularly w/disfavored communities. But I've never repressed my urge to irritate arrogant fucks.

Men function on a raw meritocracy. The best hunter gets the spear, or everyone starves. Women function on coercive redistribution. They use force to make sure their younger and weaker children get food. This is why when women gain political power, you get socialism/communism.

The lesson we can all learn from Hunter Biden is that people forgive when you’re authentic. No one is telling him what to say, he’s just being unhinged and honest which has been refreshingly hilarious Instead of Hunter being the joke, he’s cracking them and taking back the narrative. The lesson here? Comedic relief fixes more than you realize, it allows people to empathize and forgive. Make a joke about your shortcomings, and you’ll move past them. People will most likely laugh with you instead of at you.
